Sorry for the late response... Now lng ulit ako nag open ng pinoyau hehehe...

sa Perth po ako now and semiconductor test manufacturing po ung exact background ko...

I actually am in the electronics manufacturing company now .. i am currently doing the assembly, qa,test of our products.. there are electronics hardware R&D engineer and designer s company ko now and I am praying that I could have those skills in the future and get a job in that line as well...

I hope you already found your job by now... if ndi p nmn eh konting push pa... pwede nmn magsimula s simple bsta s same industry pa rin ^^ just work your way upward.. you have the skills i am sure there is definitely an R&D job for you out there!

About the topic, well same tyo ng industry... malabo nga dito ung mga semiconductor companies and the related jobs... i also thought need ko mag aral s TAFE or pumasok s apprenticeship program bago mkakuha ng proper job... but God is good... nkpasok ako agad s isang company in the electronics industry... i think they saw that I am really willing to learn... i only asked for an on-the-job training role or a leg in, but they hired me on the spot... you just really have to be out there ... puntahan mo ung mga electronics company around your area and show your enthusiasm ^^

Hi, just browsing through the topic and so amazed on how quick you got into the field that you want. By the way, adelaide based kami ng family ko now for 2 years and all I can is sobrang hirap magpenetrate s same industry that you were into. I have been working na as operator/technician s isang embroidery company and still trying to get into the electronics field. Though, we already decided to settle here and already building our own home but if I'll be able to get a job from other state e grab ko talaga to gain experience. Would you asking the name of the company that you are into now.

Thanks for the prayer that you shared. I will surely use that.

wow ayos pala. as of now job hunting pa din ako and hoping na at the right time makabalik ako sa electronics design industry. if you don't mind, can you elaborate yung style na ginawa mo sa walk-in then asking for OJT. once you get into the company, do you look for a specific person then say your intention? usually kasi yung mga company na napuntahan ko wala magaaccommodate for walk-in. salamat

@trtz, I'm currently in Singapore..Thinking to move to oz on Jan-2016. Selamat po.. will pm you about sa refer.

PTE - Hindi sya mas madali actually, mas mahirap sya.. Pero yung scoring nya is more lenient than IELTS..

Hi! Pareho po kayo halos ng background fiancé ko. ECE din siya. worked for 1 year as a systems engineer vendor side (Azbil PH) for an oil and gas company and then working for 5 years now as maintenance engineer in Azbil SG (system programming, testing and commissioning, maintenance, rectification and repair, all the works etc) pero data centers and office buildings etc na ang client.

We are planning to migrate to Australia and we have done our due research na for visa 189 but looking for better options sana.🙂 Can we ask po how you went about to being hired overseas by an Australian company? Thank you very much!

I'm flying to Australia this coming February, and still looking for a job related to Telecommunication. Looking in seek and linkedin pero so far wala pang tumatawag. Siguro dahil offshore pa ako. Anyway any leads to Project Management, O&M or Core Network baka pwede po parefer. Thanks

Hello Liam, Im also ECE with the same visa as yours. Meron mga ganyang hiring dito, ,Im in sydney. but isa sa primary requirement nila is to have a driving license, since service talaga yung ganyang line of work. Di ako makapag apply ng todo kasi wala pko driving license, so I suggest na prepare mo yung license mo sa pinas, ang kumuha ka agad pagdating mo dito. I been here for 6 months now, pero di pa sa linya natin yung work na nakuha ko.
