Hi, Newbie here... Need your inputs.

I submitted by Online Application Sept 1, 2013 for Skills Assessment. September 2, it was marked "Allocated". Sadly hanggang ngyon nasa "Allocated" stage pa dn cya. Has anyone else encountered this? kinakabahan na ako... baka sign of rejection na siya...

Di naman sya issue, pero siguro yung clearance ng payment. Pero im sure marami rami na sa atin dito ang nagbayad thru Credit Card.

@stage2, submitted my application July 1st and it was almost 12 midnight when I submitted it, the following day, stage 2 na. a couple of days, stage 4 na. paid thru cc, although singapore bank issued credit card gamit ko. parang may mga nabasa ako nagkaprob sa pagbayad gamit BPI cc. baka nga sa pag clear ng payment.

hoping to receive the result within this week or early next week.

thanks legato09 and rooroo, nakakakaba kasi... may mga times na nakaka-discourage na dn. especially un may mga nababasa ako na naglabasan na results... may unsuitable, anlaki ng binawas sa years of experience, etc .

Curious lang po ako about assessment. Tanung ko lng po kung meron po ba ditong graduate ng PUP computer engineering?

Based po sa experience nyo, nakakuha po ba kau ng bachelors degree o diploma lang? Nasa section 2 po kasi yung PUP sa list ng schools.

Kailangan ko kasi maka bachelors degree kasi yung experience ko ay 4 years palang.

Salamat po in advance!

• Certified copy of detailed employer references from Employer- assessor has requested an updated reference letter within regards to dates

Each employment reference must contain:

Start & Finish Dates of Employment
Description of Duties Performed
Hours worked - Full time or Part time
Country where Employment was Completed
Company Letterhead and signed by the author

Please Note: the ACS is unable to accept letters of appointment, self-statutory declarations or contracts as employment references.

We will place your skills assessment on hold for an extra 30 days. If no contact is received by this period, your application will be assessed according to the existing documents.

i'm assuming yung start and finish dates ko yung in question kasi, ang nilagay ko sa affidavit from my supervisor is "THAT, Miss XXXXXXXXXX has been permanently working as a full-time Senior Software Engineer from July 28, 2008 to present date" I'm still part of the company so yan yun nilagay ko. do you guys have any idea what I should put there?

If ang Certificate of Employment ay walang detailed Duties and Responsibilities, kailangan mong magpresent ng Statutory Declaration na galing sa sa Lead/Supervisor/Manager mo.

nakaindicate din dun ang Date of Employment, Fulltime or parttime, anong company, position, at ang importante sa lahat yung detailed duties and responsibilities mo.

You can refer sa ACS guidelines, page 6 regarding Statutory Declaration.

@stage2 - don't worry hindi sya sign of rejection...be positive though nakakainip..just expect na after 12weeks lalabas na ang result nyan... it takes time talaga bago magkaroon ng assesor kasi maraming nagpapaassess. sa ngayon medyo nasusulit ang 12 weeks processing time..

Here is my timeline with ACS for your reference... sana makatulong as guide but it may differ 🙂

14-Jun-13 : ACS Skills Assessment - Submitted

14-Jun-13 : ACS Skills Assessment - Allocated

21-Jun-13 : ACS Skills Assessment - With Assessor

16-Sep-13 : ACS Result - Suitable

@squinx22 - yung officemate ko BS ComSci sa PUP then Bachelors Degree ang nakuha nya... i guessed, ganun din for BS CompEng kasi yung sa akin Bachelors Degree major in ICT din binigay at BS CompEng ako pero galing ako sa CCP (kapit-bahay lang tayo) at asa section 2 din ang school ko.

You can try po wala naman problema, meron ako friend from the same Section (Gov't Subsidize Univ or State U din ;-) ) and ComEng din naka kuha sya ng Degree. If you have certifications and all, isama mo sya para maka tulong.

Hello po. I am assuming hindi nag bibigay ng detailed skills or complete job description yung company mo.

Sakin po kasi hindi ako nag avidafit. Sorry hindi ko rin alam format ng avidafit kaya I cannot comment. Pero what i did sa dalawang company ko na di nag bibigay ng detailed job description is ....

For Company 1 --- previous employer ko

ako ang gumawa ng COE ko.... and then I asked my team lead to read and confirm the details and let him sign. And I asked for his company ID, photo copied it and asked him to signas well (you can ask for business card / pero wala po sya nun). Since Plain paper lang po kasi ang ginamit ko kaya ako humingi nito as evidence na he is currently employed to that company. I asked him to use blue ink to sign para obvious and difference ng photo copy and original copy kapag ipa CTC ko.

For Company 2 --- current company

Same in company 1. I made my COE but used a company letterhead kaya pirma lang. Ok kami ng manager ko... pirma lang sya.
