Hi guys mine moved to stage 3 kahapon. Humihingi ng statutory declaration sa work reference ko. Yung detailed responsibility kasi walang letterhead. Pero nagsubmit din ako ng COE from my previous and current company. Yun nga lang ang nakalagay lang yung title and tenure.

Anyone experienced the same?

@bn1st i think important talaga yung merong detailed job description kasi ACS will use it to assess if relevant ba yung work mo or hindi. as far as i've read, hindi lahat ng work experience nacrecredit at helpful yung detailed description dito.

what i did on mine was create a page 2 sa COE at nilagay ko roles at resposibilities ko keeping in mind din yung ideal description based sa ANZSCO code. tapos sign na lang HR. thanks and hope it helps.

@the_adventurer salamat bro. yung remarking nagbabakasakali lang yun. i still have to study harder for the IELTS next month. hehe. nakakapraning mghintay especially when we're doing this for our families.

@cgm thanks sa response. Yup ganun ginawa ko. May separate page ako with detailed job description signed by my direct managers. Related yung work ko 8 years.

Anyway upload ko na lang yung hinihingi nila.

@cgm i see. malay mo 7 pala talaga dpat yun writing mo.hehe. Tama. ako din ibuhos na natin lahat ng effort, aral2 muna sa IELTS while waiting sa ACS 😉

@the_adventurer sana magdilang anghel ka. ganda nun if 7.0 ang writing solve na ang isang barrier na time-consuming. hehe...

@cgm uu tingin ko na-misinterpret lang yung letter/essay mo na dapat ay 7.0 talaga haha. Pag positive na IELTS at ACS, sabi nila mejo mabilis na rin ang next processes. Dito lang sa 2 to sobrang tumatagal.hehe.

Hi guys,

Finally, after 3 months of waiting, dumating na assessment ko. Suitable naman and bachelor's degree. Nakakakaba nung dumating ung email kasi baka hindi suitable haha! Kaso as expected, minus 2 years. 🙂 Goodluck dun sa mga waiting for results. 🙂

Yep. Sana magpickup na ung process nila para maassess na din ung sa inyo. Sana di tayo abutan ng July. =)

@mann ah kasi as far as i know. Madaming changes sa July e. Its either visa fees or possible na may mga occupations na mawala sa list. 🙂

@mann July magreset ang quota sa SOL tapos that's the time din na they might add or remove occupations. Though meron flagged, doesn't mean naman na it will be removed. 🙂

In addition to what cavalier and cgm have said, there might be possible changes in the IELTS requirement or points pass mark could go back to 65.

Furthermore, delaying one's application could also pose a risk of not getting a state sponsporship as most of the states are suspending occupations as in the case of NSW in the link below.

Kaya mejo nakaka-pressure mag-apply this year but hopefully there won't be much changes in July 2014. 🙂

@the_adventurer did NSW ba opened their SS last July 2013? Or when you started to apply, did you notice that they are accepting SS? Thanks

Not sure @cgm hehe. Maybe our other friends can tell hehe. Di ko napansin. Nakita ko lang nung Nov/Dec last year, closed na yung Programmers skill. Hmmm.. they might reopen pero sobrang dami na kasi na-grant na programmers.

@cgm, yes, NSW opened their SS for IT occupation last July 2013 but around September (not really sure if it is really September), DIAC made changes on occupations that are getting filled fast. They implemented invitation on pro-rata basis on those occupations. This includes occupations in IT. They also informed states to stop giving invitations. Then after a couple of months, they allowed them to start giving invitations again. Some states opened their SS and some did not, and I think NSW is one of those state that remained close for IT occupations. Good thing Victoria states re-opened their SS and with God's grace, I got invited and the rest is history 😃
