@heyits7me_mags usually hindi talaga nagbibigay ng detailed COE ang mga company stin unless may kakilala tyo sa HR.....

@heyits7me_mags yes, ito po madalas ginawa ng mga applicants ngayon kasi rare case lang na mag-provide ang HR officer niyo ng COE with detailed job functions.

rcroque, dati ginagawa ng ibang applicant dyan tailored nila sa gusto nilang ANZCO yung detailed job description nila ipa assess sa ACS. Idea lng bka umubra sa palagay mo?

Same din yung nakikita ko when I try to access the status of my application. Sa homepage ng ACS, the status thus reflect "with assessor". I checked my mail since yesterday pero wala ding email from them.

Question, meron po ba ditong nagpaassess from section 3 (STI Las Pinas, BSCoeE) school and got a positive assessment?

Also, I have read from previous post that ACS thus deduct number of years on your work experience depending on your Educ assessment. Meron na po bang nagpaassess dito na overlapping yung year of work experience sa Graduation date? Like for example,

Date Graduated from School: May 2008

Employment History:

May 2006 - Aug 2008 - Junior Software Engineer

Aug 2008 - March 2011 - Software Engineer

March 2011 - May 2012 - Senior Software Engineer

Do they deduct years starting from you getting out of UNI or from the year you started working. Will they deduct starting May 2006? or May 2008?

@ladypink - ex-accenture employee ako and true na hindi sila nagrerelease ng certificate of employment na may job description. Pwedeng maging factor sa result ng acs is yung job role sa work againts sa ANZSCO na kiniclaim mo. Dapat somehow related sya + yung education is also a big factor. For me suitable ako, but 2 yrs was deducted from my total experience. Ang ginawa ko sa JD, ako ang gumawa with all the details ng role and responsibilities ko then vinalidate ng TL ko. The statutory letter should be sound like na hindi mo ginawa at dapat ginawa ng third party person which is your TL or manager.

@heyits7me_mags actually nagawa ko na yan e. nung nagsubmit ako for review inedit ko ung coe ko parang mag match talaga dun sa description ng anzsco code ko. pero wala sa work exp ko ung issue. nasa course ko talaga kasi kaya nabawas 4yrs naging bachelors degree with ict major pero not closely related to my anzsco. ang di ako sure parang walang bearing ung microsoft certification ko. kasi pwede sana makatulong un para 2yrs lang ibawas sakin. tama ba ako?

@aanover i had overlapping work experience and graduation date. in fact, i had business registration, tax filing, client testimonials and letters mga 4 years before i graduated working over 20 hrs per week as consultant. submitted about 30+ docs in all pero hindi umubra. it was all legal and even had my accountant do an affidavit to testify all i submitted were correct and true. they still considered 2 years deduction after my grad date. but that's ok, pasok pa rin sa 60pts for 189 visa. hope it helps.

for my COE+JD for my other work, i prepared the jd according sa anzsco description pero reword it according sa actual function ko sa companies that i worked for. so HR did not hesitate to approve it kasi totoo naman and you are not overclaiming sa ACS. if meron items sa anszco na hindi mo nagawa, find something similar in nature sa work mo to replace with. if wala talaga match, don't claim it. important is to be truthful pero meron naman creative ways to still achieve the desired results. 🙂

Yup. tama raw yun magkakaroon lng daw ng credit yun certification mo kung CISCO certification ang certificate mo kasi yun ang related sa networking na nominated job mo

sabi nun husband ko.

@aanover your degree will be comparable to AQF Diploma and 5 or 6 yrs of work exp is required completed within 10 yrs or anytime im the past. So kun prior graduation or overlapping ng graduation un work experience mo e ok lang. So if u started working in May 2006, u will have a total of 8 years work exp by May 2014. So depende kun 5 or 6 yrs ang ideduct sa yo then u can claim 5points or 0.

@rcroque since acs updated the summary of criteria early this year tinanggal na ung MCSA.

For microsoft eto nalang nakalagay: MCSE/MCSD at MCSM.

@rcroque, tingin mo aligned ba ang Microsoft cert. sa systems admin na work tapos sa course mong Computer Engr.? naitanong ko lng po kc it seems or ganito n nga sistema ng ACS sa ngayon. Dati noong 2011 nagpa assess parang hindi ganyan ka higpit n may deduction cla sa working experience.

Kami tingin ko yung work ng hubby ko na tunog engineering din sa Accenture software engr. bka hindi rin nka aligned sa dati nyang work n programming sa Sales support kc sya sa ngayong project nila pero nid naming mag submit p rin ng jd pra malaman na walang puwang ung years of work nya at continues working sya. Pero tingin ko walang bearing yan sa assessment ng ACS. Finger cross i wish mali ako.
