2 pala function sa point system ng skills assessment, educational qualification at work experience. Tama ba? pero grabeh! Yung sa work experience, tsk. tsk. Pano kaya kung section 3 school? malamang suitable pero Bachelor naman tapos 0 points sa work experience pero at least may 10pts. sya. Haaaist!!! :-S

@wingleaf Ako po..di talaga Network yung work.. slightly naghandle lng ng network related issues pero Sys Admin talaga yung work namin. Na credit yung work exp ko sa pinas and SG pero one yr lng ang na credit na yrs of experience. May previous post ako jan nakalagay yung message ng ACS. Ni risk ko na yung network kasi halos close na lahat ng SS for CSOL occupations tas sabi ko nasa SOL yung network if magkahimala at positive pede nako directly apply. Thank God at nagkahimala nga 😃

IELTS nlng balakid ko ngayon need ko makakuha ng 20 pts.

@persephone30 congrats! siguro i-take consider ko din ung ganyang option, nga pla. ok lang ba na pa PM sakin kung magkano ung nabayaran mo sa assesment sa ACS and IELTS exam. Thanks bro 🙂

@wingleaf pero better i tailor mo yung COE sa anszco description baka mas maraming years ma credit sayo and sure na positive. fix ata yung fee sa ACS and IELTS..pm ko nlng sayo pag na check ko...

yup education - 15 points for Bachelor's degree

                          10 points for AQF Diploma

Tpos work exp - In my case BS ECE is ICT Major but not closely related to Analyst Programmer, kaya 4 years ang needed para ma-meet ang Suitability Criteria.

From the ACS Guidelines:

"Bachelor Degree or Higher with an ICT Major"

If your degree is assessed as having an ICT major which is NOT closely related to your nominated occupation, you will require 4 years relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history to meet the suitability criteria.

@persephone30, nsa SG kba? kung nandito ka sa 'pinas bka gusto mong mag review pareho kayo ni hubby ng goal IELTS OBS 8 din. Punta ka dito sa website na ito www.ninerreview.blogspot.com Sana makuha nyo OBS 8 sa IELTS.

@heyits7me_mags uu nasa SG... puro self study lng ako kasi mi work di pede maka leave ng matagal 🙁 IDP ako kukuha try ko rin attend ng masterclass nila baka makatulong..di ako naka attend ng last time... naku sana makuha namin yang 8! effort to the max eto!DnD mode na hanggang exam date @-)

@persephone30 Sayang ang Writing nyo. Same kayo ni hubby nun 1st take sa IELTS, 6.5 din sa Writing. Kayang kaya yan! Practice/Review lang talaga... everyday 1 set ng Writing ang practice ni hubby, naka 7.0 na sya ng 2nd take. Good Luck!

@johnvangie Thanks po! Good luck din sa inyo ng hubby mo 🙂 Honga pina remark ko pa sya..pero need ko na ngayon above 8 lahat so retake ako sa may :S Sana magka miracle din IELTS ko hehe

@persephone, Oo nga effort to the max sa review, ganun din si hubby samahan din ng dasal. Nakita ko nman maganda yung previous IELTS result mo. May chance na makakuha ka ng OBS 8. [-O< keep the faith.

Ask ko lang po. Meron 1yr. and 6mos. programming TESDA certificate si hubby sa STI(Systems Technology Inst.) wayback before he finished his 4yr. BS. Com. Sci. makakatulong ba yun sa skills assessment nya in terms of educational qualification points sa ACS ? Thank u in advance sa reply 🙂 Happy Easter po sa ating lahat!!! 🙂

Good Morning po!

Eto po assestment ng ACS sa akin:

Your Certification completed July 2013 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Diploma with a major in computing.

Your Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication completed April 2003 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing.

Pede po ba ako magclaim ng 10pts at the same time 15 pts? Or which is higher lang?

@heatman bro wala bang clause sa accesment mo na - "The following employment after MONTH YEAR is considered to equate to work at an appropriately". Kung meron, from that date ka mag simula mag bilang. uu tama whichever ang mas makakuha ng mataas na point yun ang iclaim mo.
