@winz since IT ang experience niya, I assume sa ACS siya mag-paassess. If his degree is not related to his nominated occupation, usually they require 6 years of experience. But then again, mas may experience yong mga master dito to give advise/feedback regarding your situation.

if you don't mind, are you going to apply separately?

Hello mga sir/ma'am, Medyo mahaba na din kasi ang thread to back track, pasensya na if paulit ulit. 😃

Pa verify lang ako if we are all on the same page.

SCENARIO:

A. End date for the recent company would be - the date ACS received the docs for assessment.

ACS received date - Feb 2014

                  Start             END

Company A - June 2007 June 2011

Company B - June 2011 Feb 2014

B. Assessment Result - ''The ff employment AFTER June 2011 is considered to equate to work at an......''

Question:

1.The applicant can only claim points (3 years; July 2011 - July 2014) if submitted EOI and got invited to lodge AFTER JULY 2014 tama?

@batobats observation sa mga previous applicants na nabasa ko, if 4 year course like IT or Com Sci kahit nasa Section 1 school pa sila, equivalent sya sa Associate Degree. Pag 5 yr course kahit nasa Section 2 Bachelors Degree pa din naaassessed.

@MyOZdream I got Bachelor Degree, My school is under section 2 and 3 years and course ko but quarter system.

Thank you to this thread and those who participated and shared.

I finally got my ACS results two weeks after I submitted (Oct 4th which is a Saturday).

I got a AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing with deductions of 4 years for a BS ECE course in UST which have failed subjects and took 6 years to finish ^_^ .

So in case someone is also applying with the same course, school and situation, do not hesitate like I did. Just go for it! 🙂

@MyOZdream oo iba iba talaga siguro. In my case quarter system kasi, tas yong BSCS samin nung time ko e 3 years lang talaga. pero ako 3.5 ko tinapos kasi sa thesis haha. Kaya medyo kabado ako nung nagpa-assess. Fortunately, Bachelor Degree ung binigay and 2 years deduction lang.

@whizler nagbabawas rin pala sila ng 4 years no kahit Bachelor at Major naman. Anyways, Congrats!

@J_Oz yes, indeed. Knew someone who also took ACS this year from DLSU also BS ECE. Though I am not sure if he had failed subjects but he also got deducted 4 years. We have the same SOL which is 261313 - Software Engineer.

Yeah! Let us ace IELTS tomorrow! Hopefully no more political questions for me 🙂

4 years din na deduct sakin, BSECE.

Anyway, all the best sa IELTS! Ibuhos na lahat for this day kasi mahal din pag paulit ulit 😃

"Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Adamson University completed March 2007 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing. The following employment after July 2009 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level"

@baknir oo paps inassess rin yung mga cisco certs ko aqf diploma ang equivalent. nacomplete ko 2010 yata sir

@lemonsweater yeah for sure makakuha ka nyan. Ako 50 palang without ielts. Sa july 2015 pa ako mag 5 years na maclaim e haha

to all: ask ko lang for example makahanap ka bagong work locally after mo makuwa resulta ng ACS. pwede na po rin yung ideclare sa eoi kahit di siya assessed ng ACS?
