I found out VETASSESS doesn't assess ICT occupations, so not an option in the first place pala.

I guess I'll just apply for assessment hoping na AQF Bachelor's ang ibigay. If hindi, I have no choice but to wait for 3 more years. Oh well, papel.

Lahat naman yan may risk na kasama. You wouldnt know unless you try. Iba iba rin ang resulta kahit same school and course... pasa mo lang tas samahan mo ng dasal. 🙂 btw i have average grades lang din and failed my first programming class in mapua. pero thank God at maganda result and i now have my PR visa.

Yup superluckyclover, tama si glitch88.

Considered na yung IELTS ko sa overall points ko e. Ito ang breakdown:

Age: 25 y/o = 30 pts

English language: proficient EN lang, 7.5 lang ako sa writing = 10 points

*Here I can try to aim for 8 lahat, but mahal kasi kada take :/

Skilled employment: total working exp. is 5 yrs.

If ICT major ang course ko and 2 yrs ang idededuct, I can claim 3 years sa points = 5 points
If ICT minor ang course ko and 4 yrs ang idededuct, I can't claim anything kasi 1 year lang matitira

*For this I think ICT major naman ang course ko, so I believe makakaclaim ako ng 5 pts. dito

Qualifications:

If AQF assoc. degree or lower = 10 pts

If AQF bachelor's degree = 15 pts

*Ito yung do or die, if 10 pts here, 55 lang overall points. If 15, 60 overall pts.

Actually yun din ang pinag iisipan ko, just pass and pray. Yung fee lang talaga is ouch T_T. Kung 5K something lang yun pinasa ko na just for the heck of it.

Pero we'll never really know until ma-assess tayo right?

So magpa-pasa na din ako. I will balitaan you guys.

@J_Oz mapuan ka din pala! Anong course? May I know kung anu-anong mga docs pinasa mo sa ACS? kasi ang meron ako ngayon ay yung mga cert of employment with roles and responsibilities tsaka TOR na nakuha pagka-graduate. Sapat na ba yun? Thanks!

Hi guys,

Has anyone here undergone the ACS assessment and submitted a Tagalog Diploma + English Transcript of Records? Nakalagay naman sa TAgalog diploma yung degree in English (e.g. Bachelor of Sc. in <major>) and the transcript has my date of graduation.

Medyo tagilid na kasi ang timeline ko if I have to secure an english translation of my diploma pa.

Guys, need your help... anyone here nakapagpareview na ng result sa ACS? I am planning kasi na ipareview ang result ko to change the nominated ANZSCO Code from Developer Programmer to 261313 - Software Engineer.

May I know the process please... naghahabol po kasi ako ng points.

Hi Guys! I just wAnt to say thank you to all because we were able to gey positive results from ACS. Hubby is a software tester but he was assesed as software engineer. We just tried our luck if suitable sya for soft eng kasi tester is not included in SOL. We need nomination pa kung tester ang anzco namin. Anyways i just want also to give advice to those testers na try to assea as software engineer first para included sa SOL.

@kittykitkat18 4 years lang kasi 6 years pa lang syang tester. 🙂 nadeduct ng 2 years. So 5 pts lang pero oks na un.

@J_Oz kung ano po talaga ung job details ni hubby as a tester. Sa COE po. Then nagkaron lang ng isang stat dec sa isang company signed naman po nung project manager nya.

Here's the job details nya sa isang company (pinakamaikli na job detail) pero they still count it.

We were also thinking na if di suitable for soft eng, ACS might contact us to inform na we should try anzco code for software tester.

@inGodsGrace_ ok na din yan may pts nacredit sa inyo. Hubby ko din main applicant.wait pa nmn coe ng current company nya pra makapag-acs. Buti counted ung coe ng hubby mo khit hndi sobrang detailed ung description. Goodluck sa PTE ni hubby mo
