Thank you @cowninja, sige that's what i'll do with hubby's documents, naisip ko kasi para ngang redundant na if may CTC na from school at CTC from the lawyer =)

@mariem - I still have mine ctc'd para sure. Kung dito ka lang sa Manila mura lang naman magpa CTC. Sa makati ako nagpagawa nun 100 lang for all docs na.

Guys, patulong naman kung anong ANZSCO code between 261313 (Software Engineer) & 261311 (Analyst Programmer) ang fit sa working experience ko at sa tingin nyong magkakaron ng positive ang feedback from ACS. Btw, BSIT course ko sa PUP. Ito po yung background ko...

2.5 years - Position: Software Engineer (Developer)

1 year - Position: Test Engineer (Manual Testing & 1st level investigation)

1.5 years - Position: Application Developer (Production Support & Developer)

Salamat mga boss! mejo kinakabahan kasi ako sa test engineer na experience ko kung san mas fit, sayang din kasi ang 1 year. hehehehe

@gladdenmac considering mas matagal yung Software Engineer ka I think mas okay yun.

@guenb thanks sa reply. siguro nga mag 261313 ako. may chance kaya na hindi macredit yung 1 year experience ko as Test Engineer? pero based naman sa description nung ANZSCO code, meron naman testing na involve. Sana hindi nila tanggalin, sayang din 1 year.

@gladdenmac as long as hindi sobrang layo.. they will still count it as related. 🙂 usually very considerate naman yung mga assesors 🙂 goodluck sana macredit lahat.

question pa pala, ok lang ba isama ko yung 2 years na part time experience ko as Computer Instructor sa Elementary School? may points din ba yun during assessment? Part time instructor ako habang nag aaral nung college. naisip ko lang baka may points din yun 🙂 hehe

eto po ang sabi ni Skills Assessment Guideline Document regarding teaching experience:

<blockquote><b>Teaching Experience</b>

ICT Teaching must be in a recognised qualification at the level of an AQF Diploma or higher and at an institution recognised by the ACS assessment process.</blockquote>

Since elementary lang po kanyo ang tinuruan nyo at AQF Diploma equivalent ang requirement ni ACS, baka hindi nila iconsider.

Hello! 🙂

I have been lurking on this site for a couple of months na po, and I want to thank you all for the informative posts here.

I just have a couple of questions 🙂

I am an ECE graduate (Licensed Electronics Engineer) but I am currently a windows system admin (2 yrs) at an Australian company but I am based here in Manila - is it possible to get points sa ACS? Here are my previous jobs:

IT Support Staff (Mainly Windows system admin and desktop support) - 1 yr 8 months

MAMS support staff (More on database/storage admin - linux based) - 1 yr

Service Desk Sprecialist (Linux) - 1yr

Also, pano po ung sa bachelor's degree? I am from a section 2 school but I can take microsoft certifications as well, will I get 15 points just based on my ECE degree?

Also, will there be any bearing kasi my Aussie boss wants to make a recommendation for me to help me out on my application.

Hello po, 4yrs software tester po work experience ko.. mas ok po ba if mgapply nalang ako ng Software Engineer, instead na Software Tester kahit na wala akong experience as a software engr? Thanks in advance po! 🙂

Hi po, I'm currently in the process of gathering all the requirements needed for ACS assessment. Baka po may masasuggest kayo kung saan pwede magpatranslate ng TOR? and okay lang po ba na black and white yung photocopy ng mga documents? Thank you po.

@saleeeii why would you need your TOR translated? Diba pag Phil schools naman lagi in English yung nasa TOR? pwede naman yung black & white ppa certified true copy mu naman yun.

@britella pag ok na assessment mo and ielts. You can submit your EOI dpat at least 60 pts ka..for now asikasuhin mo na docs mo for assessment sa ACS.dun natatagalan ung iba dhil sa coe

@guenb May mga subjects po kasi na tagalog pero mga minor subjects lang naman yun. Not sure kung ok lang magsubmit sa ACS ng ganun.

Got my result, wohooo! AQF Bachelor Degree with major in computing! 2 years lang binawas nila kaya sakto lang din sa computation kong years of experience para sa points credit 😃
