@greatsoul ang alam ko kasi, ang icoconsider ng ACS is for example current employer mo ang naka state sa date is from june 23 up to date. hangang dun lang sa date na nakalagay sa employment reference mo. kunyare ung COE mo dated ng today June 29, so from june 23-29 lang un. wala pang month.

paki correct nalang po ng iba if mali pagkakaintindi ko. hehe

pwede mo namang isama kung gusto mong tumatakbo pa ung experience mo. pero make sure lang na ung details required by ACS ay nandun pa rin.

Hindi pa ako nakapag submit ng EOI. so far for ACS palang ginawa ko.

Yun sana plan ko. Say ngayon 4yrs 11mos, pero sa time na ilolodge ko yung visa, after 5 months, so madadagdagan yung 4yrs11mos na inassess ng ACS? Please correct me if im wrong

You can also do that, but why bother? According to the ACS guidelines (Page 12)

Employment references can only be calculated until the date of submission. The “To Date” will be taken from the employment reference date or the submission date of your application – whichever comes first.

oh ok... hirap mag back read... ganto pala un... akala ko kasi, Say ang na assess today is 4 yrs 11 months, and ang application ko ng visa is after 5 months, hinde 5yrs and 4months ang macocover. yung time lang pala na sinubmit yung Assessment for ACS.

@Noodles12 - yup, different position and same document. so far wala ako idea sa EOI kasi wala pa ako sa stage na yan.

actually pwede m pa din e include yung current, kasi nga pwedeng hindi ka naman agad mag eoi, so in the case na mag eoi ka yung current job mu syempre yung nka open date. Lalo na kung suitable yung result mu from ACS and what if pwede ka pala kmuha points for experience. Kung bibigyan ka nman ng work reference ni new company why not include it. pwede kasi mangyari experience after June 2014 can equate to skilled employment, example lang...

Naguguluhan na ako haha! So kunwari, after 5 months pa ako mag eoi, madadagdagan pa yung months ng suitable exp ko? Say inline parin sa career ko, hinde na kelangan mag re assess sa acs? Kindly advise. Thanks

@greatsoul yup. Hindi na kelangan magpareassess, as long as nandun ka pa sa company mo, and related siya sa job code mo. kpg naglodge na ng visa, proof na lang na working ka pa rin dun (payslips, itr, coe siguro na latest, although up to date lang naman nakalagay dun).

Question po, graduate po kasi ako ng Computer Engineering (5-yr course). Initial work ko is programmer (for 4 yrs), then naging BA (for 5 yrs). Plan ko magpa assess sa ACS as BA. Di ako sure if they will consider it as ICT Major or Minor, and if relevant yun work exp/skills ko sa course ko. Yun school ko falls under section 2.

Kinakabahan lang ako sa magiging result ng assessment. Im wishing na hindi 5pts un ibigay nila. Sana po may makapag share ng views re: sa qualification and skills ko. TIA!

@ medyo pareho tayo background, if mag-papa assess ka for BA then I think you'll have the same result as mine. Kahit section 2 school pero dahil 5-year course yung Coe I'm sure it will still be AQF Bachelor's Degree which will give you 15pts. Bale ganito yung result:

Your qualification has been assessed as not closely related to your nominated occupation:

Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from (institution) completed

(date) has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in

computing.

So dahil not closely related yung ComEng sa BA they will deduct you 4 years from your experience. You will be suitable for migration but you cannot get points for experience.

Actually pwede mu din ipa assess yung sa programmer mu na experience, ang konti kasi ng slots for BA at ang minimum pts daw sabi nila to get invited is around 65-70...

@guenb thank you sa reply mo dun sa kabilang thread. If programmer yun magiging nominated occupation ko, mas malaki ba ang chance na mabigyan nila ako ng points for qualification?

Yun concern ko naman is more on BA practice na ako. Baka once I'm in Oz na, they will expect me to work as programmer, not BA. Medyo outdated na programming skills ko.

claim mo na din ung programmer as BA. just make sure lang ung job description mo e nagfocus ka sa BA tasks mo kahit programmer ka. from which ka ba? i think for your case maconsider ka na bachelor's degree (hopefullY) since 5 year course ka
