Salamat. Di po ba 60 points yung requirement? Nakita ko sa post niyo sa taas na 65 for certain cases (pro rata). How does that work?

Feasible ba yung 5 points for Community Language certification from NAATI?

yup, 60pts yung requirement.. with 60pts, eligible ka na for Visa 189 and pwede ka na magsubmit ng EOI.. pero since naka-pro rata ang Software Engineer (same group kayo as Programmers), may quota per invitation round and highest pointers get invited first.. mag makakapag-provide ng more info si @chewbacca kasi Software Engineer din nominated occupation nya 🙂

@jp1978 Hello! 🙂 Ano yung tanong mo? ECE ka no? So, dapat RPL track ka magpa-assess kasi hindi ICT course eh. Puwede na 6 years deduction ka (Please check the link: https://www.acs.org.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0016/7324/Summary-of-Criteria-2014.pdf - ).

Yes, 60pts requirement for visa 189 and 190. Pro rata occupation ang 2613 meaning they prioritize high pointers (65 points and above). PERO hindi ibig sabihin hindi maiinvite yung 60 pointers, mas matatagalan lang yung pag antay sa ITA.

Yes, puwede ka kumuha ng NAATI for 5pts. Check mo lang yung website nila for further details.

@chewychewbacca medyo mdami na din ECE dito na nagpa-assess sa regular skills assessment sa ACS, tagged naman as Bachelor with major in computing. I don't think RPL is necessary, but syempre it will still rely on the subjects taken.

thank you po sa lahat ng sumasagot sa inquiry ko.. di ko na po lagay names kasi baka may makalimutan ako.. pero thank you po!!.. push pa more... so far si partner nakalusot sa 189 as Analyst Prog. kaya happy na ako.. kahit na malagas ang work exp ko dahil sa AQF Diploma ko for ICT Support engr. may pag asa pa.

Maraming salamat ulit sa pagsagot. Opo ECE ang natapos ko. Pero may related subjects naman, yun nga lang at lower levels of abstraction halos sa bare metal na, so sana hindi na kailangan mag-RPL.

Gaano ka relevant ang (bad) grades? Relevant ba yung (good) board exam result/rank?

May nakasubok na bang mag-NAATI? Confident naman ako sa English at Filipino ko, pero siyempre iba ang skills ng translator/interpreter.

Meron din akong teaching experience, pero one sem lang yung may relevant subject, isasama ko pa ba sa experience?

Sana dumating ang araw kasama na ako sa tumutulong dito katulad ng ginagawa niyo.

hello @jp1978.. so far sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum, hindi na nag-RPL yung mga ECE graduates.. either 2yrs, 4yrs or 6yrs yung deduction.. kapag Computer Network and Systems Engr yata, 2yrs lang yung deduction.. ichecheck ng ACS yung mga subjects sa TOR mo kung closely related ba sila sa nominated occupation mo.. pwede mo rin i-check, andito yung mga list of related ICT units per occupation: https://acs.org.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0018/7641/ANZSCO-Descriptions-2015.pdf wala naman yatang bearing yung grades.. ang importante eh na-complete mo yung degree.. I think di rin relevant yung board exam, di ko lang sure.. pwede mo isama yung teaching experience sa employment history, pero I don't think ma-c-count sya as relevant work experience for Software Engr.. post ka lang dito pag may questions ka, marami naman willing tumulong.. basta ayusin mo na etong skills assessment, first step talaga ito.. don't worry too much about RPL, tingin ko talaga di mo kelangan gumawa nun.. pero kung kelangan mo man, nag-RPL route ako, pwede kita bigyan ng sample 🙂

hi question po ulit, anu po magandang gawin kung hindi na makakakuha ng coe or any proof sa previous employment? do I need to remove sa resume yung experience? and also if sarado na ung school na pinagturuan niya tatanggalin na po ba un sa resume?

@trixie@yahoo.com you can have statutory declaration signed by a former superior then attach old copies of resume or itr, any evidence. You dont need to remove it from resume, will you be claiming pts for it?

Hi @guenb actually wala na kasi means na makakuha even ung dati kasamahan sa work. mas okay nga sana kung makakakuha ng points pandagdag. but ang worry ko if hahanapan na kami ng proof wala na kami mapapakita. kaya di pa naming mapasa resume dahil di naming Makita ibang cert at coe. pag ganun po ba dapat I remove na lang sa resume?

Wow! bilis ng results ng ACS ah. Just got my results this morning. Akala ko 12weeks talga, mga 2 weeks lang inabot sakin.

AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing ako tapos 2 years ang binawas. Thank God!! Nominated occupation ko yung Software Engineer, BS CompE yung course ko.

Maraming salamat ulit sa mga sumagot. Hinihintay ko pa ngayon yung reference nung former employer na akala ko sarado na na bukas pa pala. Ayos ng ibang requirements in the meantime at isip ng diskarte kung papaano hihingi ng reference sa current employer. Mukhang okay naman kausapin yung boss ko, pero that will probably kill any chance of promotion.

di ko nga inexpect yung feedback agad eh, even though I always check acs site regarding sa status ko everyday. so now my main focus would be taking and passing ielts.

yung sakin, hinintay ko muna mag take effect yung salary appraisal (which is super liit lng ng increase) after nun I asked for COE sa current employer ko. So now, alam na ng manager ko na I'm processing my application for Aus Visa. It may probably kill your chances for promotion, but it could go the other way around and they would convince you to stay with them (probably give you a bond after a business trip) if you're a good employee.

as for promotion, pwede pa naman ma achieve un... medyo antay antay parin naman since medyo madami pa process sa visa application... makakaipon ka pa for sure hehe!
