just sharing - yung case ko nga pala na nagsubmit ako sa acs nung aug 16 tapos wala pa man lang sa Stage 1...

what happened was they say my application had not been submitted.

but i said na i had a successful submit, with a confirmation page saying i can check the status in the Application Status section of the acs website. so i checked back back sa online app, and true to that, it was again asking to submit and pay.

i said to them the the case na the app was indeed looking to be not submitted yet BUT case is that my credit card had the transaction posted and paid to acs already.

i provided proof, they said the system had an error, and they were to forward the proof to their accounts team. what more, they'll prioritise my app once confirmed.

so today i eventually received the confirmation email na i submitted an app for assessment, and i didn't see it on previous stages anymore, but started at stage 4 - with assessor.

takeaway is make sure

you receive confirmation email that app is submitted
payment is posted on your card
and it looks it should be in Stage 1 outright

@guenb Thanks, kaso walang nakalagay sakin na kung closely and not closed sa assessment ko. pero since 6 years ang nabawas as per assessment so most likely not closely nga. saklap ng 6 years na bawas 🙁

Mam, Sirs,

I have all the supporting documents na in hand. COE, Payslips, stat dec, and bank statement.

I have seen sa iba na nagpasa pa ng ITR. do I have to get one? Nag request ako sa previous HR namin indefinite yung release since outsourced yung accounting nila. It depends sa compliance nung third party accounting. Nung nag resign ako binigyan ako ng copy ng ITR kaso nawala ko 🙁

Sa frontloading of documents part na ito. Do i need to submit all (payslip, ITR, bank cert) ?

ITR ang hindi ako sure kung kelan ko ma submit.

Meron po ba may experience here na hindi na nag send ng ITR?

@einra2k2 I think hindi na kailangan, other submit ITR as additioanl proof that your work on that company was a paid work if payslips not available. But you can check it here to make sure https://www.acs.org.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/17636/Application-Checklist.pdf

Hi Thanks sa response. Actually sa ACS hindi na usually nirerequire yung ITR.

After ACS part na ito. May nakita kasi ako na yung Case Officer nag require ng ITR for additional document.

Ang problem ko lang sa ITR is indefinite kung kelan ako makaka kuha.

that is not required.. kailangan lang yan if you dont have enough documents to prove your employment..

Hello Everyone! I was hoping you can shed some light on my ACS assessment step.

I'm a non-IT graduate (Business Management) with 8.5 years of IT experience as a Software Engineer/Systems analyst.

Just wanted to confirm if I need to get an RPL instead of the normal skills assessment?

@mariaana14 boss kahit di ka mag RPL. may chance pa yan. Normal assessment will do. Dito ata malaking bagay kung galing ka sa Section 1 school.

@mariaana14 If it's a non-IT course yes you do need to go through RPL, they will deduct 6 years from your experience. Since it's RPL, you need to have your degree assessed (points test advice) from VETASSESS, they will be responsible to determine if it's equivalent to Bachelor or Diploma.

@einra2k2 just curious why would you advise on normal skills assessment? Do you happen to read here with that same scenario?

For non-ICT course, tama po kayo. 8years plus RPL.

@guenb thanks for the reply. What do you mean by they will deduct 6 years from my experience? So 2.5 Lang out of my 8.5 years ang valid for assessment?

@mariaana14 no the 8.5 years experience ACS has to determine if it's related to your nominated occupation. Then out of the related experience they will require you 6years which in itself is really a deduction in the sense that you can only claim skilled employment points after the 6years requirement. So for example your 2.5 years, might as well wait na mag 3years to claim the extra 5points.

Hi everyone, just got the assesment of my husband yesterday, double check ko lang po if tama ung intindi ko. AQF Bachelor degree major in computing (15pts?) and sa work expereince naman is after August 2008 is considered to equate to work (8 years meaning 15 ptspo?)

Ayoko po muna kasi i assume baka magkamali ako, by the way 25 pts si hubby for age, so if a add lahat 55 pts. na kami?

To quote sir @jakeonline, nagsubmit din ako earlier ng ACS assessment pero wala akong nare-receive na email. Credit card ng mama ko yung ginamit ko kasi pina-close ko na yung credit card ko. I guess I'll have to check when her credit card bill for this month arrives as well pra malaman if pumasok ba talaga yung application ko. T_T

@missingleak sige maglalagay ako ng signature. Check ko muna paano. Hehe.

@kingmaling i suppose kung pumunta ka sa Application Status section and see that it's in a certain Stage na, you can be more confident na pumasok na talaga yung application mo. it just happened na sakin wala man lang sa Stage 1 and hasn't budged for some days.

@jakeonline Inaabangan ko rin yung status mismo sa site ng ACS. Walang nakalagay sa status section eh. I think automated naman yung system kaya kahit weekend mare-receive nila yung application. Hintayin ko na lng siguro until Monday or pagdating ng billing statement, baka mag-double charge pa sa credit card pag inapply ko ulit. Buti na yung sigurado. Hehe.
