Hello mga Kaibigan,

Malapit ko na makuha yung mga detailed COE ko at need your inputs dito sa ipapa-assess ko sa ACS.

Course: BS ECE, graduated 2010

School: Letran-Calamba (section 3)

Employment: HPE (April 2011 - March 2015) - (ITO Svc Delivery Cons) Storage and backup Admin

    ANZ Manila (March 2015 - to date) - Storage Engineer

Total EXP: 5yrs and 6 months

Question:

Anyone familiar with my role? Should I claim it as "261112 - Systems Analysts" or "263111 - Computer Network and Systems Engineer"
Possible ba madeduct ng EXP to claim points?

If nakuha ko si Bachelor Degree - 15 points

If makuha ko si buong 5 years - 10 points?

If minalas at na deduct - 5 points?

so it's 6 or 8 years deduction

@Heprex sa hardware ka naman so I'm guessing mas malapit 263111 - Computer Network and Systems Engineer. For deduction my possibility na 2years pwede din 4. Considering 5years yung ECE eh Bachelor equivalent nman yan. So I think you have assurance of 15pts if ACS will assess you as suitable.

@guenb Thanks! so for "Overseas Work Experience" if ma deduct ako ng 2 years, 3 years lang pede ko i-claim tama? so it will be 5 points lang?

@guenb yup, dyan din ako nag bbase kung ano ino-nominate kong occupation, pero halo talaga, hahahah kaya nalilito ako. Kaya plan ko is System Analyst muna, then kung i-recommend naman nila sa Computer Network and Systems Engineer. tanggapin ko na lang.

Sa english ko pala tlaga mababawi ang points.

@guenb 1 week lang sa akin total. siguro mga 3-4 days sa stage 4.

@Heprex alam ko bro pag section 3 ang madalas na assessment is Diploma (10 points) tapos 5 year deduction minimum. Based sa mga naexperience ng ibang forumers at ibang kilala ko.

Hi Guys.. I have a friend na qualified sa Web Developer and Web Designer. Alin ba mas may advantage Web Developer (ACS) or Web Designer (VETASSESS)? Thanks!

Hello guys, not to be pessimistic on this one, but yes, @rich88 point is very valid. They consider your school, then your subjects related to IT and employment. So far, wala pa po akong kilala na ECE then 2yrs yung deduction lang po, mostly for BS CS/IT yung mga kilala ko.

But.... let's hope for the best, hopefully you will get your desired assessment.

@guenb @Heprex d ko rin sure brad.. yung sa sinabi ko kanina based lang sa inputs ng ibang forumers lang din. In the end, depende rin sa ACS talaga yung final assessment.

Pag software related or analsyt na jobs, minimum 4 years ang deduction pg engineering course e. Dapat CS and IT/IS ang course respectively ata

Ordinary Bachelor Degree in Computing from University of Portsmouth - Feb 2015

Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies major in Computer Programming from Informatics Philippines - Legazpi Branch - May 2005

Total years of relative experience 9.5 years as Software Tester/Test Engineer

Do you think that ACS will give positive result? If yes, how many years experience?
