@auitdreamer kaka-stage 5 lang ng akin... and got the e-mail na rin for the result. So far AQF Degree Major in Computing. 8 minus 2 years ako. Mapua ECE pala ako... buti nga minus 2 years lang. kasi normal pag ECE minus 4 years. malaking factor din siguro lahat experience ko related sa IT. Praise God. =)

Good Day!

Im new member here. Gusto ko sanang mg ask if sinong mga ECE dito na IT ung field of work. Kasi sabi ng kaibigan ko di daw pwud PTE sa Engineering. Dapat daw Ielts talaga.

Mg susubmit pa ako para ACS. Ano po yung time table sa ACS once submitted? Aabot kaya un ng mga 2 months?

Dun kasi sa friend ko nakasulat counted experience after 2010 pero yung nakalista na work sa ilalim nun starting 2008. Sabi ng agent nya, ang mas importante daw eh yung number of years na nilista ng ACS. So imbis na 6 years lang, full 8 years experience ang na-count nila. Nasa Au na sya ngayon. Kaka-apply lang nya mga 2 months ago.

@johnsermelneri tungkol sa ACS mostly nakikita ko mga 1-2 weeks lang may result na.

@johnsermelneri pag sa ACS ka mgpapa assess walang required na english exam, for EOI na yun. Yng ngrequire ng IELTS eh Engineers Australia.

Your qualification has been assessed as follows: Your Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from *name of school* completed December 2004 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Diploma with a major in computing.

The following employment after June 2013 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 263111 (Computer Network and Systems Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code. Dates: 06/07 - 05/09 (1yrs 11mths)

@ruzzelletin Pag computer network professionals, ang course na talagang closely related daw eh ECE or computer engineering. Naka depende rin sa section ng school din kasi.

Does this mean sa eoi di ko po ilalagay na bachelors degree? Im confused po kc ako sa eoi nakalagay kc is ung course name...so nilagay ko po bachelor of science in information tech. So dun sa summary nakalagay is bachelors degree 🙁 Please help to clarify

@auitdreamer actually, same kami nung friend mo... september 2008 start work ko, then ang nakalagay kay ACS, experience after September 2010. di ko rin sure pero alam ko 6 years lang ang may points.

@d_thugcydal Parang ganun na ganun nga yung sa kanya. Respall agent nya and sabi sa kanya ang sinusundan daw yung nasa ilalim kaya full 8 years nacount nya para sa points nya. Naguguluhan tuloy ako.

@auitdreamer di ko rin sure... kung 8 years pala macredit sakin pwede na ako mag-apply ng subclass 190.. makaka 65 na kasi ako... heheh...

Hello guys, it will be case-to-case basis, as what I read from others - some COs will consider all your experience others are not. But then better to follow what's in the ACS assessment letter - as it "may" ground for visa refusal if you wrongly stated your skilled experience in EOI. Just my 2 cents 🙂

@ruzzelletin factor din kasi tlaga na sec3 yung school then 4years lang yung BSIT. Pwede ka mag appeal pero need mu pa din mag add ng documents, like course syllabus siguro...

If money is not an issue why not try VETASSESS points test advice, they can assess if your degree is bachelor or diploma equivalent...magandang support din yun for your appeal if ever VETASSESS assess your degree as Bachelor (but sympre risk din to)
