Good Evening. I just need your thoughts on this po. May chance po ba na 2 years lang deduction ko at AQF Bachelor ang assessment? I feel na closely related naman yung nominated occupation.noc ko po ay 263111. Course ko BSIT. Section 3 school. 10 yrs IT work experience. TIA 🙂

@diskartepinay Depende yan sa courses na na-take mo nung college and sa job description mo for your 10 years work exp.

hi all, question lang. ung ACS assessment ko kc ay mageexpire this coming March 20, 2017. If fortunate at makareceive ako ng invite either 189 or 190 before the validity date, ok lang ba during lodging ng VISA eh un parin ang iprovide kong ACS reference? or do I need to lodge for new assessment and provide that new reference number during lodging of VISA? Thanks for your usual advise. 🙂

Hello @diskartepinay from what I read mostly here in forum - Sec. 3 will assess you as AQF Diploma and 5yrs deduc... but this is still case-to-case basis depends on your submitted proofs.

@DrAgKurt If you get invited & <b>lodged visa</b> before the the expiration date of your assessment, that would be fine.

@DrAgKurt no need to submit another ACS assessment, if ma-invite ka & maka-lodge ng visa before expiration of your assessment. Lodge meaning na-submit & paid na yung 189/190 visa application.

@DrAgKurt also, please take into consideration - only those companies that were assessed by ACS will be included if you are claiming for points. If you're still with the same company based on the latest company assessed by ACS then you're fine. But if you already joined another company, you can't claim skilled points for that and need another ACS assessment

Usually ACS deducts 5 years if you graduated from a section 3 school. Exception dito is if engineering degree ka with PRC license.

@Heprex sa Business Analyst. Pwede ba ako magpa assess based on my experience to get points that I need.

Age - 15 points

Education - 20 points

Language Proficiency (PTE) - 20 points

PY - 5 points (still earning this mga May this year)

Kung ung experience ko makakuha ako at least 15 points kung pwede...hindi ko na kailangan tapusin ung professional year ko

Please kailangan ko lng ng feedbac, kasi sabi ng education agent ko hindi na pwede. pro bakit nasa point system ng PR kung d pwede. Baka meron dito na may alam. Gusto ko na kasi makuha mga anak ko. Naghahanap din ako ng work now.

O baka may ma reccommend kayo na migration agent. Gusto ko na makakuha ng info ASAP. Bago ako mawalan ng points sa age. turning 45 this October.

@rich88 From June 2007 to March 2013 Head ako ng isang IT department sa pinas.......doing project management (analyst) and project manager from March 2013 to December.

Bachelors in Information and Computer Systems ang tinapos ko sa Pinas circa 1994

Pwede ba ko ba ipa-assess sa ACS for Skills. Kas sabi ng agent ko hindi na pwede.

I got my assessment results today, need help po to calculate kung ilang points ang pwede ko i-claim in qualifications and work experience.

Here's my results:

"Your skills have been assessed suitable for migration....

Your Bachelr of Science in Information Technology from XXXX completed March 2008 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing.

The following employment after October 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to XXXX....

Dates: 06/08 -01/10 (1yrs 7mths)

Dates: 05/10 - 06/11 (1yrs 1mths)

Dates: 06/11 - 03/15 (3yrs 9mths)

Dates: 03/15- 12/16 (1yrs 9mths)"

Kung tama intindi ko I can claim the following tama po ba?
