@dutchmilk based kase yun sa guidelines ni ACS, but havent read anything yet dito sa forum na may nadeduct na 8years.

Ang pinag tataka ko lang is bakit pa kayo pinag RPL. ECE is considered as ICT course based sa mga experience ng nadito.

@Heprex kaya nga po. sa mga nababasa ko dito max of 5yrs lng. hay sana di totoo yung 8 yrs na sinasabi ng agent.

if may rpl or wala po bah, does it make a difference sa assessment namin?

@dutchmilk yes malaki difference.

If mag RPL ka, skills lang maa-assess sayo. Hindi included ang education. at minimum 5-6 years nga ata dine-deduct nila.

And, need mo pa ipa-assess yung education mo sa VETASSESS PTA. another bayad.

If isang assessment lang which is ACS lang, kasama na education at skill mo. If maganda assessment sa inyo, baka Bachelors Degree with ICT minor, 4 years deduction lang ata yan.

@Heprex ah ganun po bah. nasa Au na po kayo? kaya kami nag rpl kasi meron din kaming kakila na ECE grad and programming yung work nya sa pinas dati ang nag rpl cya.

@Heprex nabasa ko nga po kaso 2013 pa ata ang last post dun. thanks anyway sa sagot mo. sana pala di na kami nag agency. sayang lang bayad namin dun. no need na pala ang rpl.

bago lang ba ung agency nio? they took as engineerng course kaya kayo nirequire mag RPL.

no harm na isubmit ung rpl. pero cheaper ang hindi rpl. the number of years to be deducted will either 4 or 2 years. so if u want to claim more years of work experience, then include mo pa ung ibang work experience mo

Hi guys.. may nakapagtry na ba magfollow up ng assessment sa iniyo? pano po? Wala pa rin kasi yung sa amen.. more than 2 weeks na.. or no need to worry pa muna kame? Hehe..

@eujin as per ACS guidelines. 12 weeks. After nyan, saka lang pede mag follow up.

Thanks @Heprex .. weird lang kasi yung sa akin lumabas na after a week, pero ung sa wife ko lagpas 2weeks na wala paren. Sige wait nalang muna namen..

@dutchmilk if sure namn kayo na not related it's okay not to include that work. I agree na no need for RPL, kahit ECE yan worst case scenario nasa 5-6years yung deduction lang (regular assessment).

@eujin normally mga 1 month meron na or less than 1 month. Kung maraming experience at employment reference, tingin ko medyo matagal. Ramdam ko mga 3 weeks meron na yan. 😃

Your Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from University of XXXX completed March 2007 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing.

The following employment after January 2009 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to XXXX (XXXX) of the ANZSCO Code.

Does this mean that I can claim 15 points for my education?

Also, does the result mean that I don't have sufficient # of years to claim 15 points for my skills because based on my calculation I fell short by few months to reach 8 years?

If I don't have sufficient # of years to claim for 15 points, is it advisable to wait for few months before I log EOI? Do I need to ask ACS again to add the additional months?

Please enlighten me!
