@shobskie so useless din po ba isama ko ung oracle certifications ko? Or try ko na din i upload may negative effect ba pag inupload ko sa acs un for assessment?

@eking try nyo na din iupload, baka po mai consider. Not sure po kung may negative aspect kung sobra ang docs na inupload.

@eking Isubmit mo na lahat. I'm pretty sure aware naman si ACS kung sino si ORACLE and kung ano ang significance ng certification na yan.

Question po ulit @mijikaye and kung sino man po naka pag pa ctc na sa cityland...ung address at contact number ba nila naka stamp din? Or sinusulat lang po nila? Salamat po sa makakasagot

@eking they have 2 stamps. Ung isa walang contact details. Kelangan mong sabihin na ung with contact info ung kelangan for acs. Bring 2 copies of each doc and the original copy

I see salamat @mijikaye meron kasi ako pinuntahan dito malapit sa bahay namin kaso isusulat lang daw nila address so tentative ako...buti may stamp adddress sa cityland tom.puntahan ko salamat

Kahit you're still staying in the same co. and you don't need additional years naman kc na.assessed na ung skilled employment for more than 8 yrs.? ang nagbago lang po is yung job title but job descriptions remain the same.

@spyware Yes. On your ACS assessment letter you will find this statement on the last page:

"This assessment is valid for a period of 24 months from the date of this letter."

Hingi po sana ako ng advice.

Under ako sa agency from 06/14 - 01/16 and was assigned to their client XXX. Tapos 02/16 to present kinuha ako ng client para gawing direct contract.

Ito po ang mali ko sa employment declaration sa ACS. Na declare ko na from 06/14 - present employed na ako sa client XXX. Nawala sa isip ko na under pala ako ng agency from 06/14 - 01/16. Ang duties and responsibilities are the same. Ang kaibahan lang ay yung agency ang nag papasahod sa akin from 06/14 - 01/16.

Pwede pa ba mag appeal or kailangan mag apply ng panibago? Last 05/07/2017 ko lang nakuha yung letter from ACS.

Hi ask ko lang my uncle is trying to apply for this visa. Tpos sya ng computer engineer and support analyst sya in dubai at the moment. Nagkakaproblem sya sa pagkuha ng reference letter nya since yung unang amo nya lumipat ng saudi. Tas sa current work nya hindi rin sya makahingi since baka akalain nila aalis na sya. Hingi lang sana ako ng advice.

Tas how much po kaya ang kailangan iprepare? Nsa early stages pa lang sya. Nagpa assess pa lang sya sa isang agency sa dubai.

@waderwander No, if your father-in-law has the legal rights to do CTC, then I assume it's not an issue. 🙂

Also to ask, does ACS deduct relevant years only within the 10-yr span o regardless? Say since 2005 up to present ang relevant work mo pero kunwari 2 yrs ang i-deduct nila --starting 2007 sila mag deduct or sa starting 2005?

@waderwander there are several factors (school's section, course, units of IT subjects etc.). Afaik, 2yrs minimum yung deduction (for AQF Bachelors and closely related to IT with major in computing).

Let's say 2007-2017 work yung inasses, if 2yrs deduction - then 2009 until 2017 yung skilled employment mo. Meaning from 2009 ka lang pwede magclaim ng points.

@aranayad make statutory declaration, see ACS guidelines on how to do it. Make sure your uncle doesn't perform desktop support or else he will get negative skills assessment.

I would like to ask some information and i will try to be brief as much as I could.

Here's my quick background:

I graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology - Manila

Section 1 category

I am graduate of B.S. Industrial Engineering
I am working for 85 months with combined experiences in Systems Analysis
I am 32 years old and will turn 33 by June next year.

What is the best approach so far?

Go for Engineers Australia - relate experiences to IE by submitting CDR

Go for ACS - list down actual job experiences and submit RPL

How will RPL affect my school category as well as my education qualifications or work qualifications?

When do you consider age point? By the time you lodge your EOI, or by the time you submit a Skills Assessment?

It would be a big help to have these information.
