Question folks, may nakapagpa-assess na ba as Software Engr pero Software Tester talaga ang job? How's the result? Favorable naman? Thanks sa sasagot.

Hello.. i badly need your inputs.. nagpa assess napo kami using 261399 - software and application engineer.. yong status is with assessor..

261399 is not suitable for MLTSSL na pala.. any suggestions po kung ano dapat gagawin? Do i have to contact acs if possible to change the anzsco?

Hay, same problem (although not exactly the same code)... 6th week na yung sakin, still waiting for result. I think need natin hintayin yung result then submit a review:

Reasons for a Review Application:

 You wish to be assessed under a different ANZSCO Code

Review Details:

 A review fee of $395 is payable for all review assessments

Unless wala pa sa Stage 4 yung status mo you can still contact them:

Once the assessment process has reached stage 4 in your applicant dashboard, it will NOT possible to change the ANZSCO because the assessment of your documentation against the ANZSCO has already began and in most cases will have already been completed.

May change pala kasi nung July. I was too busy and careless hindi ako nagbasa ulit before submitting my assessment kasi binase ko lang sa kakilala ko na same code. Hindi na pala MLTSSL yung code / STSOL na.

Lesson learned na lang for us and isipin na lang na in the long term mababawi din naman ang money but need to wait yung 3-4 weeks time for the review.

In my opinion no. Kasi parang lalabas you can just ask HR to tailor-made docs to fit yung code? Since meron ka na sinubmit na dati pa, hnd ba?

Not sure though sa mga members na nag pa review na ang reason is solely to change codes...

Hi.... nagpa-assess na ako last May. Positive naman ang feedback. Ang question ko lang is regarding sa points system nila. Meron kasi dun "Skilled Employment in the last 10 years - outside Australia" and " Skilled Employment in the last 10 years - in Australia". 5 years na akong Software Engineer. Ang sabi sa assessment ko is "employment after May 2014 is considered to equate to work an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261313..." so basically 2014 to 2017 is only 3 years. Ibig sabihin ba nun 3 years lang ako sa category na "Skilled Employment in the last 10 years - Outside Australia"? Or 5 years pa din ako dun tapos 3 years dun sa category na "Skilled Employment in the last 10 years -in Australia"?

@gelangel if sa visa application na to 3 years lang ang dapat mo ilagay since sabi ng ACS starting June2014 ka up to recent ang pwede mo e claim for your skilled employment.

@gelangel kelan ka nagstart work as software engineer? yung "in australia" ang pagkakaintindi ko is nagwork ka inside Australia (i might be wrong though). But if ACS says na 3 years lang yun equivalent, then that's the only number of years na pwede mo iclaim.

Magandang Gabi mga kabayan, magtatanong lang po:

Computer Engineering Graduate po and ang experience ko ay IT support, 1st/2nd level, 4 years sa pinas and almost 10 years sa 2 bank here in SG. Am confused, if ang path ko for assessment ay ACS ba or TRA+Vetassess (to get +5 points), anyone here who has/had the same dilemma?

but re😃escription of Employment Duties:

Need po ba nun masatisfy lahat nun bulleted points? or is it ok to meet at least 2-3 nun?

me kilala kase ako na engineering grad and same xp ko, TRA cia then nareject kase di related sa occupation, so ng RPL pa cia. Inabot cia ng 5K sgd para lang sa assessment.

ang code nya is - 313112 ICT Customer Support Officer

am thinking i have 2 choices?

ACS then RPL?

or TRA then Vetassess?

Agency? mahal nga lang..... - running low on resources kaya am trying to do the legwork.

Appreciate in advance po sa reply.

@leli7_4 not sure about TRA. But if you go for ACS, the best thing you can do is to tailor your employment reference to match the most relevant ANZSCO that reflects your experience. You need to do more reading talaga if you plan to DIY. Baka may same scenario ka dito sa forum. I'm not sure kung bakit 5k sgd sinabi nung kakilala, that's too much. It's even more than the visa fee itself, ng buong pamilya. hehehe based naman sa site, 1k aud lang ang TRA assessment.

Yung course mo has enough ICT units para di ka na mag RPL, in my opinion.

@yani1127 regarding your question, software tester ang work ko and nagpaassess ako sa 261313 (software engr), Thank God positive naman ang result and nag less ng 2yrs exp.. (com eng grad here)

May mga nabasa din ako before na pag QA ka it is best sa 261313 ka paassess.
