Hi guys. anong reason or scenario at bakit nagkakaltas ng years of experience si ACS?

I'm now worried, baka mangyari din sakin yun. I spent 4 yrs in a previous company, and more than 4 years in my current. sa 1st job ko, SAP support, and now, SAP implem. Same module naman ng SAP. Should I be worried that isa lang ma-consider ni ACS?

@cheesybaconmushroom everything is explained on the ACS guideline. Just make sure your tasks description is in line with the ANZSCO description. Good luck.

hello! new member here and been reading quite some time na. I have a question lang po, kulang po kasi ako sa points since ang school ko nagfall under section 3. and what I know is ACS will automatically deduct 6 years of experience kaya lalo ako magkukulang sa points. is it a wise choice if I take a master's degree in section 1 university for me to be able to get the 15 points for education? also, maccredit pa rin kaya yung experience ko (i've been a developer for 5 years now) once I have my degree? or yung working xp after master's lang yung iaassess? hope I do have similar case here. TIA for those who will answer my question!!!

@rain_man engaging an agent is a personal decision. I always tell people diy is always possible but you need to allocate a lot of time and effort....but if you want peace of mind and have the budget for it, then engage an agent. Sometimes din, sa kagustuhan makatipid via diy which is understandable, napapamali minsan which means you also waste time and money in the process. So really, to each is own at the end of the day.

pwd po ba mag logdge ng 2 EOI using different email address for melby and sydney? Or baka makita nila at kailangan ko mag submit ng letter to prove na willing ako mag stay sa state for 2 years?

After reading few pages (500-540) on this thread, marami ka rin pala iku-consider sa pag papa-assess like school section, experience yrs deduction, etc.

Hingi lang sana ako input regarding to my situation.

I'm an ECE grad (with PRC license) - 2012
I've been in ICT industry since 2013

Company A:

2013 - 2016 (3years and 4 months)

IT Operations Analyst (DBA)

Company B:

2016 - Present (2years)

DBA

My school is under section 2

Macoconsider rin ba ang certification ko from Oracle?

@flexihopper18 if you have a professional license/board passer then even if you graduated from a section 2 institution, your qualification will most likely be considered as equivalent to an AQF bachelors degree.

@RheaMARN1171933 Hi, ask ko lang po- can I claim points for Bachelors degree if Section 2 yung school and 1.66 GPA ko? I finished a 4 year degree in Psychology and just got a suitable RPL assessment for my IT work experience but there was no mention about qualifications in my ACS result. 70 po ang current points ko if I select Diploma pero 75 if Degree.

@annonymous ilan na po ang years working experience nyo sa IT?? and ano ano pong work.it should be solid experience on 1 work parang ganun sila mag assess.

@Lane88 Eto mga docs ko na ginamit for ACS may nagbigay langbdin sakin nito dito forum, ang mga notarized lang na docs ko for ACS ay yung mga Reference Letters.

Yung Reference Letter, ito yung letter na may jobs and responsibilities from your manager/supervisor/team lead na dapat kasama ng COE mo (certificate of employment) in case walang jobs and responsibilites ang COE mo. And when you say notarized, eto yung may "subscribed and sworn before me".

Pero yung documents below, hindi need i-notarized pero kelangan certified copy.

Just got my assessment from ACS for Software Engineer.

BS ECE

Section 1 University

9 years work experience

ACS deducted 4 yrs from my experience so I am left with 5 yrs but that's alright. It falls into the 5-7 years bracket. My degree was considered major in computing.

@bankshot15 IT helpdesk and application support. afrer deductions, i got about 6 yrs suitable skill assessment from ACS. I'm left with just qualifications kung degree ba or diploma icclaim ko.
