Hi legato09, ngayon pa lang nagsosorry na ako. Hindi pa kasi masyadong broad ang knowledge ko sa pagapply sa immigration. Tinitingnan ko pa lang yun mga options ko and umpisa pa lang sa pagreresearch. Papano po na magagamit sa DIAC? Pasensya na.

Mag-5 years pa lang kasi yun SW QA exp ko sa Jan 2013. I assume na sa educational qualification ang ibigay saken is AU Diploma lang so need ng 5 years exp po dun dba. Pero overall naman I have more than 8 years work exp na.

1) ung work experience na i-assess syo ng ACS should be <b>related/closely related</b> sa nominated occupation mo.. example sa case mo, hindi ma credit ang work exp mo as Technical writer, dahil hindi sya related/closely related sa SW QA (example ko lang ito)..

2) so kung ano ang result ng assessment mo sa ACS it will contain 2 things

----a) if your degree is equivalent to AQF degree or AQF diploma, remember magkaiba iba yan ng points sa SkillSelect
----b) they will assess your work exp kung alin lang dun ang ma crecredit, remember iba ang points sa DIAC pag 5 yrs or 8 yrs work experience.

based sa definition nila, they will credit your work experience if its related/closely related to your occupation.. related/closely related means within 1 unit group sa ANSZCO code..

example: software engineer code is 261313, unit code is the first 4 numbers = 2613..

therefore ang macredit lang syo eh ung mga nagstart sa jobcode 2613...

a) Analyst Programmer - 261311

b) Developer Programmer - 261312

c) Software Engineer - 261313

pero again, may statement sa DIAC, Case Officer pa rin ang may final decision kung anu man ang points na ibibigay syo, the ACS assessment will just be a reference..

so kung yung kunyari po sa akin, ang binigay ni acs sakin ay 5 1/2 years para sa analyst programmer. kunyari lang po ah kc d ko na sinama yung current work ko ngyon as systems analyst kc self statutory yung pinasa ko.

tapos by next year at naglodge kmi sa diac 8 years na ang work exp ko sa IT.

IT associate 2 years

Programmer 1 year

Senior Software eng 2 1/2 years

Systems Analyst by next year 2 1/2 years

ibig po ba sabihin nito pwede ako magclaim ng points na 8years xp? pasencya na. gusto lang po maliwanagan. hehe

question for you: bakit di mo sinama ang current work mo na 2 1/2 yrs?

worry ko lang kasi baka magulat lang ang DIAC CO,

kasi ngaun 5 1/2 lang claim mo from ACS, tpos biglang next year eh 8yrs na?

i mean bkt di mo ipa-assess na 7 1/2 yrs sa ACS.... atleat mas madali ipaliwanag at mas realistic na after several months eh naging 8 yrs na talga ang work exp mo...

sinama ko ung current xp ko. kaya ko lang po sinabi na 5 1/2 kc d ko lng kc sure kung iaccept ni acs yung current xp kc self declaration ginawa ko pro pinasa ko din yung welcome letter at latest payslip. nagtataka nga po ako kc d ako hiningan ng additional info or docs basta na lng nagjump ng stage 4 pero sana iconsider nila kc nilagay kong reason sa affidavit na d ako mkahingi sa manager ko kc bka makaapekto sa performance rating ko.

suggestion ko lang, pag sa visa processing na.. hingi ka na lang kahit COE lang na latest..

para makita ng DIAC CO na employed ka pa rin (covering ung claim mo na 8 yrs)...

Ask ko lang kung ok ba na Reference Letter with Business Card na lang instead of Statutory Declaration from manager? Makakakuha ng COE pero standard lang (walang duties and responsibilities). Tapos, i-pa-notarize din.

@lock_code2004 Yung immediate supervisor lang and gagawa ng reference letter at mag-sign. Di kasi magbibigay yung HR manager ng ganun e.. Ang ibibigay ng HR ay standard COE lang. Thanks!

thats fine.. your supervisor's signature means he is declaring whatever is in the paper...

mas okay kung iprint nyo sa company letterhead.. hingi ka ng format sa HR.. or gayahin mo ung sa HR.. haha

of course, kailangan mo pa rin ipa-notarized yan..
