@jaaarman Yes, if you cannot obtain Employment Reference Letter from your previous and current employers. Is there any reasons why you cannot obtain that reference letter?

@BrizyFilo For my past 2 employers, all of my managers are not with the company anymore.. But have my COE with for the both of them.. Im thinking of meeting my squad leaders/supervisors and ask for a statutory declaration with the COE as a proof of back up for the ACS assessment..

Will this be a good idea?

You only need statutory declaration if you cannot obtain COE from your previous employers.

Hindi mo na kelangan back-upan ang COE mo using statutory declaration.

The statutory declaration is just alternative document for those applicant who cannot obtain COE from their employer.

Make sure your COE (Employment reference letter yung tawag nila dito sa Aus) complies with the formatting and guidelines according to ACS - and you are good to go!

@BrizyFilo ang problem lang is most of the format na binibigay nila is walang job description or roles and responsibilities.. yung tenure date lang yung nasa COE 🙁

@jaaarman Hindi ka ba pedeng mag request ulit sa HR ng previous company mo? and instruct them to follow the formatting of ACS (You can send them a template, so that they can follow). If I were you, I will get in touch with my previous employers. Mag pasched ka kung kelan ka pede pumunta para makuha yung tamang format ng COE mo. Kung hindi possible yan then mag stat dec kana nga lang. In my opinion, mas powerful ang COE kesa stat dec, but both are accepted by ACS and DHA.

@BrizyFilo thanks again!! Ill try next week to contact them and give them the format including ung Job description para icopy na lang nila.. tama ba ung inattach kong format?

@jaaarman Tama naman yang inattach mo, but yung location (right or left, top or bottom) ng Company letter head and contact details does not matter, as long as visible and readable siya sa letter. Pero kahit yan na mismo ang isend mo sknila.

Question po mga boss. Ang binigay po sakin ni ACS were 5 sa work and 5 points sa educ. If I pass my CCNP po, would this make my educ 15 points and work 15 points?

@Manu22 hmm, ACS doesn’t award points, they just assess your skills if they are relevant. Also, lowest points one can ever claim on qualification is 10 points so not quite sure how you got 5 points?

@jaaarman you’ll need it for occupations you are declaring where you can’t get an employment reference letter from.

@jaaarman @BrizyFilo the employment reference letter and stat Dec both have equal bearing. Neither is more “powerful” than the other. As long these documents comply to ACS requirements, it’s good enough. Tip is rather asking HR/supervisor to write the letter/statement, provide them the draft. Lesser hassle for them.

To everyone who’ve just filed their acs assessment. In one of the requirements listed curriculum vitae, san ko siya upload? Walang provisions kung sa upload eh. Thanks in advance!

@yeppuda, yep @RheaMARN1171933 is right. It’s in the new guideline. Weird thing is, there is no provision where to upload it.

Hi @mister.hyde @RheaMARN1171933 yup nasa guidelines po sya pero wala na sa site. Just to let you know I did my ACS last Feb and did not upload my CV since there’s no field and got my positive assessment naman.

@mister.hyde @yeppuda that was early last year. We also did the same for our clients before, didn’t ask for their cv’s. Last year from July they’ve changed requirements, fyi. We always make sure our clients are compliant with requirements and quickest track record we have for a decision from ACS is 2 weeks. Things change over time so the info you have shared is no longer the up-to-date one.
