That’s correct. It’s because COE isn’t what they’re askiNg for, it’s employment reference letter.

Yes i'm a licensed ECE but not practicing. Got positive result from ACS. Pero binawasan ako ng 4 years (i'm guessing dahil Section 2 ang school ko and hindi gaano relevant ang studies).

The following employment after 30 June 2019 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level

Date: 07/12 – 07/15 (3yrs) – Company A

Date: 7/18 – 8/20 (2 yrs, 2 mos) – Company B

Sa EOI po ilalagay ko is:

7/12 – 7/15 – Company A – NOT RELATED

7/18 – 6/19 – Company B – NOT RELATED

7/19 – present – Company B – RELATED

Since after 30 June 2019 lang recognise ni ACS, tama po ba na hahatiin ko ang Company B experience ko from the date na nirecognize ni ACS?

It’s not about that. If you would have been my client, I would have gone back to ACS and demand a correction. You shouldn’t bear the inconvenience of explaining to your case officer about the error ACS made. If they can’t correct the actual document than ask them to issue a letter confirming that the institution specified on the outcome letter is indeed UST.

Don’t just accept their explanation. That’s pure laziness in my opinion.

It’s not about that. If you would have been my client, I would have gone back to ACS and demand a correction. May australian sponsor po ako (Brisbane) and just wanted to know if I'll get my hopes up. Yung visa po na pinapakuha ni sponsor is Employer Nomination Scheme (186) since gusto nila Permanent na ako agad. Meron po ba chance na maging positive yung assessment ko sa ACS?

Nomination: Software Engineer

School Section: 3

Average Grade: 2.18 (According sa Grading System sa TOR that is 85%)

Work Experience: 3 years and 3 months (Software Engineer and promoted to Senior Software Engineer 2 years ago)

The sponsor paid for everything po - they hired an migration agency in Brisbane. Nabigay ko na sakanila lahat ng documents na nirequire nila and they said wala na daw further documents needed. I know sakanila ko dapat itanong pero wala pa sila further advise. Baka meron lang po same scenario dito. :smile:

Possible po ba na positive yung skills assessment based sa taas?

I think depende kung closely related ang studies mo sa nominated occupation mo.

Sa case ko nagpaassess ako as Software Engineer binawasan ako ng 4years dahil hndi closely related ang studies ko at Section2 ang school.

Sa case ko nagpaassess ako as Software Engineer binawasan ako ng 4years dahil hndi closely related ang studies ko at Section2 ang school.

Thank you sa pagsagot sir. BS IT po ako and hawig naman yung ICT Units duon sa mga subject ko nung College. Worried lang ako na positive pero may bawas experience. Sinusunod po ba ni 186 Visa yung experience sa ACS duon sa "Have relevant work experience?". 3 years po kasi yung minimum experience sa 186. Brisbane po yung sponsor ko.
