Hi, im a newbie on this thread. I'm in the stage of information gathering on how i go about applying for a skilled independent visa specifically visa 189. I've done some backreading already, just got some more questions, hope you could help me.
- Which is more acceptable to ACS? A detailed COE with all the required information on it na, an affidavit (statutory declaration) or a basic COE partnered with reference letters stating all the required information.
I am thinking of requesting for a detailed COE na. I will ask our HR kung ok sa kanila. If not, I will go for basic COE and reference letters na lang.
I had non-IT jobs, no need na for COE for these. Yun lang related sa nominated occupation ko ang gagawan ng COE. Tama ba?
Re school sectioning, i read this info:
Section 2 institutions can be comparable to a bachelor's degree in Australia if:
(1) Bachelor Degree with (a) 4 years full-time education, (b) 120-185 credits and (c) Average grade of 1.00 to 2.00, (A to B, or more than 85%)
My school belongs to section 2. But I qualify on their 1st criteria. So meaning ba, possible na Bachelors degree ang assessment ng education ko?
Do you have an updated list of school sectioning. Nagbago na kase name ng school ko, nagbabakasali lang tumaas na level/section nya hehehe...
Yung period of employment ba dapat full date...i mean kasama ang day (dd/mm/yyyy)...hindi pwedeng month and year lang?
Yung masters degree ba may bearing din sa education assessment? 3 subjects na lang, tapos ko na masters ko. 🙂. Kung walang bearing, di ko na lang isasama to kase hindi pa naman ako graduate. 🙂
