"What if I have been working on a ship?
If you have spent a cumulative total of 12 months or more in the last 10 years working for the same employer on a merchant ship, cruise ship, private yacht or oil rig, you should request a police certificate from the relevant authority in the country under whose flag the ship sails, or country of ownership of the rig.
You will also need to provide a letter or statement of good conduct from the ship’s captain or company attesting to your character. The letter should include the vessel’s name, the job you had while on the ship or rig and the start and finish dates of employment."
ang problema is parang pasok ako sa ganyang case. eh ang nabanggit lng nmn ng migration agent namin is NBI clearance lng ang kailangan for my side and japan police clearance and nbi clearance para sa wife ko. so yun lang ang kinuha namin.

pero gusto kong malaman kung anong opinion nyo kasi in the first place, ni ndi nga kami nirequire ng DIAC ng japan clearance for my wife.. kasi nabasa ko sa bang forum na may mare-receive ka daw na letter from DIAC ng letter of request for police clearance. so since wala kaming nareceive na letter eh meaning po b n enough na yung NBI clearances naming mag-asawa? salamat ho..kasi ndi n ako mapakali now.
