sa pagkakaalam ko..pag pharmacist ka sa pinas at pumunta ka sa ibang bansa..since ndi na recognized ung licence mo as pharmacist, automatically considered ka as pharmacy technician. So pagdating mo sa AU pwede ka na agad mag apply as pharmacy tech or pharmacy assistant (lower than pharm tech, I think)

natry mo ba tignan mga description sa anscosearch para sa hospital pharma at pharm tech?

I suggest i-base mo na lang dun kung san mas pasok mga experience mo. Then yun gamitin mo for assesment.

@dantz15 yes po hindi nga valid ung licensed as pharmacist ko dto sa pinas kaya need pa magintern sa AU saka exam pra mging registered but it will take a long time and big money kaya po gusto ko sana kahit as pharmtech lang

@dantz15 kaya plano ko magpaassess sa vetassess as pharmtech kaso nagdadalawang isip ako kase baka hndi approve skill ko since hndi naman ako pharmtech. sayang lang gastos. Sana totoo po yang sinasabi nyong automatically pharmtech na ko. 🙁 wala po kasing clear na info kung paano maging pharmtech mismo sa AU.. May idea po ba kayo? Maraming salamat po sa response!!!

Hi I'm planning to go to Australia pero undecided kung mag student visa (as a Pharmacy Technician) or process papers for migration na talaga. If student visa, possible po kaya na pweding magacquire lang ng cert for Pharmacy technician rather than a real Diploma of Pharmacy. Balak ko po kasi to start my career there as a Pharmacy technician muna. Hoping for anyone's insight.

Anyone applying for a Skilled Visa 190 as Pharmacy Technician? And if nakapag assess na sa VETASSESS?

I was just wondering for your insight kasi po I have a 2 years experience in Community pharmacy as a Pharmacist. Will this be considered for this visa? Since yung license as Pharma sa Philippines is not valid there. Macredit po kaya siya as a Pharmacy tech experience nun?

@aicieee Kung yung job description mo is similar to that of the Pharmacy Tech, they might credit it as such. Yung mga kakilala ko na nakapagmigrate, may PharTech experience from Sg. The only way to know is to have a skills assessment from VETASSESS and by the way you can’t apply for PR without going through VETASSESS.

@Cassey May idea po ba kayo kung pano makapagwork as PharmTech sa SG? I mean kailangan po ba mag-aral or may certification bago makapagwork as Pharm Tech doon?

@aicieee Kailangan mo lang maghanap ng employer to work there, hindi na kailangang magaral. Usually ang kinukuha ng mga hospitals yung may hospital experience but you can always try naman. May mga agencies sa Ph na may job offer for PharTech (confirm with POEA na may job order para di ma-scam). They’ll pool applications then do interviews at kapag nagustuhan ka ng hospital they’ll hire you.

@gllmqz Kailangan mong magaral dito and at the same time kailangan mo ng 2yrs experience as PharTech para makakuha ka ng working visa kung yun ang aim mo.

@gllmqz Unfortunately, hindi siya basta basta na kukuha lang ng working visa. May mga requirements siya. Hindi ka makakapagapply nung visa kapag walang employer na magsponsor sayo. Isa pang requirement is to have at least 2yrs of experience as PharTech.

I’m not 100% sure kung available siya for international students. It seems na it’s only for the locals.
