nag fill up n kasi ako ng online application kgabi, pro hindi ko sinubmit as i am worrying about this issue. tapos ang nilagay ko lang ay 20k. Kulang pala un. buti n lang ako hindi k pa cya na finalize.

@wynx : sa pagkakaalala ko...nakalagay po dun sa form kung magkano yung requirement depende sa status ng applicants (single, couple, with 1 kid, etc.). wala po ba kayong nakita?

need your help po about his question sa online application ng SS from VIC. Should i say no,although meron n ako EOI, but hindi ko pa lang kasi binago pra idagdag ang visa 190 sa application ko as i have originally chosen visa 189 only.

An EOI is not a visa application, it is an indication that you would like to be considered for a skilled visa with DIAC through their SkillSelect system. Lodging an EOI prior to applying for state sponsorship is not a compulsory requirement.

I dont think it's a big deal, really. Especially when it says there it's not a compulsory requirement. Just be honest and say Yes.

Lemme guess, nanghihinayang kang baguhin yung EOI mo kasi bababa yung ranking mo?

@Metaform exactly, kapag nagkaroon kasi ng change sa EOI, magbabago ang ranking mo diba? considering that i submitted my EOI nung July 1.

@wynx : based sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum, pag hindi mo naman na-indicate na open ka for 190 sa EOI mo, hihingin din naman ng sponsoring state yun pag approved na. so i think it doesn't matter (in my opinion). 🙂

You can indicate Yes without updating your EOI. In-update ko lang yung sa akin noong na-receive ko na yung SS approval (I changed "All state" to "Victoria").

hi! need help for any advise po... i've been working sa new zealand as herd manager from since May 2008 until July 2012 till an employer sponsored me here in Dubbo,NSW. In case i wanted to apply for residency, counted po ba yung years rendered ko in NZ? may additional points po bah? kasi we are planning (me and my partner) how we can apply for residency... we don't like the employer sponsorship para in case I want to leave them, I can do it anytime... then pwede po ba kami mag apply for residency kahit 1yr pa lng po kami dito?

Im now 30yrs old, so hinahabol namin yung points sa age kasi medyo malaki po db. Tapos my partner's half sister already australian citizen na but they are in Adelaide.

pwede po ba mag undergo of SS in VIC at the same here din sa NSW? kasi po parang mas maraming dairy oppurtunity in VIC than in here.

hindi ko po alam kung pano po yung sa case nyo, antay na lang tayo ng iba na baka alam nila ano dapat nyong gawin.

but regarding the SS application for NSW and VIC at the same time, pwede po yun. ako din po kasi ginawa ko yun at pareho naman na-approve pero mas pinili namin ang NSW.

anyway, thank you sa pag reply. sana may mag share pa ng piece of view nila hehehe... huling hirit nah! hehehe.. im on 457visa holder, anong pwede kong maaplyan na visa for residency. ano ang difference ng 190 at 176? nakalito naman kasi ang daming klase iba sa nz. heheheh...

about 190 vs 176...they are both Skilled-Sponsored Migrant visas. it was called 176 before skillselect pero now it's 190 na. so wala na ngayon ang 176 kasi nagkaroon na ng skillselect starting July 2012. so 190 na lang sya ngayon.

madami din pong naka-457 visa dito sa forum. antayin lang natin mga advice nila kung pano maging PR ang 457 visa holders. 🙂

as far as i know, you will only be exempted from taking the ielts exam if you are citizen/passport holder of these countries (US, UK, NZ, CAN, IRE)..

so it doesnt matter kung matagal na kayong nakatira sa english (as 1st language) speaking country... ang proof should be the passport..

but even for them, if they want to claim points, 7-OBS (10pts), 8-OBS(20pts), they also have to take the ielts... because their exemption only assumes they have a competent english language ability, which is equivalent to 6-OBS, or Zero point in the Skill Select points system...
