May nakapagtry na ba magsama ng kasambahay kahit temporary lang for initial move? My sister wants to take her helper with them for the initial move (they're coming from Singapore), the problem is, subclass 400 is only for those who are travelling for holiday. thanks

FYI lang. for those na gusto isama mga helper nila for the initial move to australia. we have applied visa subclass 400. my sister's helper was granted single entry for a max of 1 month stay lang. we have declared na they are going for a holiday lang and not permanently migrating, so same ng requirements ng visitor visa lang plus additional declaration from the empployer. cguro depende sa CO and need mo, they may grant max of 3 months. do take note na after 1 month stay sa australia, you may be subject sa tax and required ka din na paswelduhin sila by law around A$620 (approx.) per week.

just an update sa mga magsasama ng helper as tourist sa Oz,

nag apply kame using my immiaccount, kahapon March 3. NAg-biometrics sya kanina, then Grant na agad ngayon! March 4, ambilis 1 day processing hehehe
