Nag initial entry lang then balik pinas

Any PR holders here who only did their initial entry then bumalik din Pinas after? Kumabaga tumikim muna ng Oz life bago taking the big bite of permanently settling down.

We also did initial entry and stayed in Melb for a week then went back to PH. We were only give 6 months from visa grant to initial entry date, so medyo kapos sa time and wala din naman kami ganong ipon. Then I went back to Melb after 5 months, as in ako lang muna since ako yung primary then got my family after 3 months. Me work na kase ako nun dito sa oz and nakakuha na din ako ng house, bought basic furnitures/appliances, na-enrol na mga kids sa school, bought school uniforms and books. As in, halos na ready ko na lahat bago sila dumating. So for us, ok naman yung ganun setup. 🙂

@RuChe. Ah so nasa clause ba ng visa nyo dapat sabay sabay landing yun family? I see. OO mahirap nga yun isang bagsakan lang anjan na. Dapat may isang satble na lalo na kung di ganun kalaki un ipon. May I ask kung ano line of work mo? I find it incredible na nakapagpundar ka na kagad ng house and schooling for your kids just after 3months of work.

@ava_garde, ala naman sa clause na dapat sabay sabay pero dapat kasama yung primary applicant pag nag initial entry. I stayed with my cousin habang naghahanap ng work so halos wala akong gastos. hehe.

Sa IT ako, tester. But my first job here is data entry (encoder). Nung nakakuha ako ng 2 payslips, nag-start na ko maghanap ng house for rent. Naka-ilang apply din ako sa house rental bago na-approve. Yung ipon ko enough lang talaga for the bond and yung first monthly rent. Then every sweldo I'll buy one appliance or furniture. The rest ni-credit card ko then I paid my CC every payday. Inagad kong makasunod agad family ko kase nagkakasakit mga bata pag sa yaya lang nakaasa. Lakasan lang din ng loob and siguro andito din kase cousin ko na pedeng sumalo sa min kung sakali. hehe. 🙂

Buti may ganitong thread. Question lang po, Is it really a requirement na kasama ang primary applicant pag nag-initial entry ung ibang members ng family? Ung plan kasi namin, mauuna ako and yung youngest sa January. Then susunod ung husband ko and my 2 boys sa March. If that's the case, do I have to go back to Pinas and accompany them on their initial entry?

@Dimdam as long as walang visa condition na kelangan mauna or sabay sa primary, oks lang na mauna dependents. i think nowadays, wala na nilalagay na conditions for 189 and 190

how about for those that are "state sponsored" kelangan ba mag initial entry dun sa nag sponsor na state or pwede kahit sa iba. (i know this has been asked before, tinanong ko na din ang VIC SS pero hindi clear ang response nila).

Naginitial entry din kame and stayed for 10 days here in Sydney. The reason was our meds was expiring. Grant was May 17, and we need to make the initial entry by June 8. When we got back to the Phils, I started looking for work. Fortunately I got hired on Aug 15 and need to be in Sydney by Sep 6. Laging madalian but no regrets.

As far as i understand, basta mauna mag initial entry ang principal walang kaso yun. Better check the visa conditions in the grant letter.

Hi @RuChe and @sydneysider nung nag apply kayo ng work nasa Pinas ba kayo?

Nag aantay kasi ako ng visa grant, hindi pa ako decided if mag BM agad ako then sa Sydney na ako maghanap ng work, or if from Pinas ako mag apply ng work once i got the 189.

@rjlim you can try applying for work kahit nasa pinas kapa after your visa grant, case to case basis to e, may mga occupation na kahit outside Australia willing sila pero sad to say majority would like to see u in person, well at least for my case.

if u have budget at nakapagprepare kn for BM,why not fly directly here, makakatulong p yun s residency mo in the future for citizenship application.

@Captain_A thanks for the input sir good point about sa citizenship. Kinabahan kasi ako dahil marami ako nabasa na yung iba umabot ng 4-5 months bago naka hanap ng work, baka kasi hindi kami masustain ng baon namin around 400k php ang target, you think enough na yun?

@rjlim it's really hard to say gaano katagal aabutin bago magka job offer,nasa diskarte at swerte din kasi if ilang buwan bago makahanap work.

tingin ko 400k php is enough, kahit na may kid ka na kasama, worst case is while searching for a job look for part time jobs para lng may pandagdag s budget.

tipid n lng muna hanggan wala pang job n related s profession.

rough monthly estimate while job hunting:

room rental: 1000 aud a month (includes bills)

food/grocery: 400 (home cook)

transpo/mobile : 150 (since hndi p nmn kayo magbyahe araw araw)

miscellaneous: 200

approx 1750 aud or about 70k php (rough estimate). atleast 5 months aabutin ang 400k mo. pwede mo p nmn yan mapaliit pa.. (disclaimer: rough estimate only)
