Hello po =) Ask lang po sana ako about TRA. Nagsisimula na kase akong mag-gather ng requirements for : ICT Customer Support Officer – 313112 . Nagback-read po ako half ng forum pa lang pero ask ko lang kung saang website ako dapat pumunta for TRA Migration Skills application? May nakita rin kase ako about TRA points advice, pero parang magkaiba un Migration Skills Application and Points Advice. Alin po yung tama sa dalawa? Sa mga nakapagpasa na po ng same code ko, pwede ko po ba malaman kung ano dapat piliin para sa skills assessment and may idea kayo how much yung fee? Maraming salamat po :-) God Bless.

@juancruz - as far as i know..

<u>a) Migration Skills Assessment</u> - eto yung pag -assess ng skills at educ qualification mo according sa job description mo at sa ANZSCO standard, at sa minimum requiremetns ng TRA in terms of educ and work experience..

<u>b) Points Advice </u>- to assess if your work exp and education is relevant to your nominated for the purpose of claiming EOI points..

so example: your Nominated occupation is X

College degree A
working in company 1 (for 3 yrs)
worked in company 2 (for 5 years)

if you avail Migration Skills Assessment only - you will be assessed only on the minimum requirements. Assuming na ang minimum requirements nila ay 3 years at Diploma level...so yung work for Company 1 is enough to satisfy the minimum requirement.. so pwede mo lang iclaim sa EOI is 3 yrs (5pts work exp), pero hindi nila i-assess yung company 2.. at hindi mo ma-claim ang work exp na yun sa EOI

if you avail both MSA + Point Test Advice - they will assess all... at pag sinabi nila na okay lahat ang work experience mo... you can claim for the total 8 yers work exp (co1+co 2) and thats 15pts sa EOI..

so I normally suggest to get both.. kahit it's more expensive..

dahil yun ang basis mo to claim points..

hello @lock_code2004 & @sharean07 .. thank you very much! 🙂 i'm so impressed on how supportive are members on this forum. will definitely read more about this process. twice na kase ako nagpasa thru ACS pero hindi ako suitable sa kahit anong job code dun. siguro dahil sa technical support experience ko. Hopefully i can submit within this month. Sayang nakapagpasa sana ako nun May kase $300 AUD pa yata that time hehe pero this is just a little sacrifice dahil gusto ko talaga makapag work and migrate sa AUS. Thanks again and God bless..

sa Part 4 is Vocational Qualification details, ok lang po ba un college degree / course po ba un ilalagay dito? Im an ECE grad pero not licensed and im wondering if tama un understanding ko sa part na 'to. Based dito sa thread e college course un nilagay nun iba, confirm ko lang po ulet. Thanks 🙂

And then what size of paper did you guys used? wala kase ako makitang info sa guidelines or baka na-miss ko. ok lang ba un A4 or 8.5''x11'' ? Salamat 🙂

Hi everyone, good day! I just have a question po, ok lang po ba kahit hindi ko direct supervisor ang pipirma sa Employment Reference ko? Naka-maternity leave kasi yung supervisor ko and matatagalan pa balik nya. However, I know another supervisor working here in the same company who can testify about my job/role.

next step for me is IELTS exam,, self-review then sched ko exam sa sept siguro. 🙂

I'm having a second thought of applyibg for PTA coz medyo expensive...if anybody with the same school as mine s forum n degree and not board passer na naka claim ng 15pts s degree nila..malaking tulong para d n ko magpa PTA...sayang din ang 600AUD

Company A--semicon industry, Equipment Technician (Filipinas) 6.5yrs

Company B--semicon industry, Equipment associate Engineer (SG) 1yr

Company C--semicon industry, Equipment associate Engineer (SG) 3yrs

Company D--semicon industry, Process and Equipment Technician (SG) 3yrs

parehas lang lahat ng job description sa lahat ng company...and based sa nominated occupation, yan talaga yung ginagawa ko eversince.

hi @bachuchay medyo similar case tayo, naghabol din ako ng points sa qualification (15pts)...

nagpa-assess ako sa TRA for 313112, successful (without PTA), but Certificate level III ang assessment sa qualification ko. Since nasa section 1 ang school ko, sinapalaran ko i-apply ung qualification ko sa VETASSES Letter Advisory (for qualification only). Please read info from this link:

Then ang nakuha kong assessment sa VETASSES is AQF Bachelor Degree.

In my opinion, kahit magpa PTA ka sa TRA medyo risky, kasi sa pagkakaintindi ko, hanggang Diploma lang highest qualification na naa-assess nila. Please see TRA Migration Skills Assessment Applicant Guidelines 2.6.2, which says: "Occupations that we assess are generally at either an AQF level of Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma."

"Generally" daw so kahit nag-inquire ako sa kanila before ako nagpa PTA sa VETASSESS mas naisip ko na mas malaki pa rin chance na makakuha ako ng degree sa Vetassess since doon marami sila inaassess na degree ang nakukuha.

Nasa syo yan, pero sa opinyon ko, IELTS points ang best na option mo.

Mukhang hindi na xa nag PTA and looks like na-awardan din un college degree nya ng 15 points. pero mataas IELTS nya kaya may 10 points awards xa. hehe maybe we can consult him kung paano un ginawa nya sa education. 🙂)

Okay din un suggestion ni @xtnpascual thru VETASSES. Hi @xtnpascual , ongoing na kase ung application ko sa TRA, pwede na kaya ako mag apply ng VETASSES while waiting for TRA results?

Nag-apply na rin kase ako last year sa ACS. When i checked my result letter from ACS, may ganitong note sa letter: Do you think I can submit this to DIAC in the future for the Education requirements?

from ACS letter: "Your Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Technological Institute of the Philippines completed April 2006 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing"

Sana okay na present ko un letter from ACS for the Education. hehehe 🙂

Thanx ng madami..naliwanagan me ng sobra..nabasa ko nga yun s TRA n diploma pinakamataas n I assess nila..Then about po s vetasses PTA..how much and gano katagal po ang naginh processing u?Naka include b yubg education and work eexperience s I asses nila? TuP taguig ang school ko; BSECE ..what section kaya ng school ko? Pag section2 b? D pwd mag claim ng 15pts?

hi guys.. may question po pala ako.. nag-email kase un TRA kahapon, Thurs morning.. Natanggap na nila application ko pero nakalimutan ko kase ilagay sa form kung anong Visa un apply-an ko..

nag-reply naman ako agad within 5 minutes and said that i'll apply for VISA 190.

Until now di pa ulit nag-reply. May effect ba un sa application ko kase may info ako nakalimutan ilagay sa form? Usually ilang araw bago nila ibigay TRA #?

Sabi kasi s mga nababasa ko..pag section1 ang school pwd mag claim ng 15 pts for educ..section 2 k din and bsece and d nag board but na assess ka as comparable to Degree ng ACS..meaning pwd rin maging 15pts ang claim ko s BSECE ko s TUP...hehe..kahit d n ko magpa PTA? Pag visa489 kasi 5pts n lang kulang ko..pwd n ko mag submit ng eoi..hope may makpag advice and share their ideas about my case..maraming maraming salamat po...

Yung TRA no included po sya s acknowledgment letter from TRA..sa case ko po nag submit ako April 1 then nag send sila ng april5..
