if i may just comment on this:

the reason why AQF diploma lang binigay ng TRA, is because they are a trade assessment agency, and they can only assess up to an AQF diploma...
also, it is because their occupations only require a minimum of AQF diploma,
so for example, if your nominated occupation is mechanic, and even if you have a Bachelor degree, a master degree and a PhD, TRA will only assess it as a minimum equivalent to AQF diploma..

so that is why they were referred to have their education be assessed by Vetassess.. because Vetassess is authorised to assess all levels of education.. 😉

Thanx po for helpful infos...u think its worth trying the assessment even section2 yung school ko? Naka 2 try n kasi me ielts..d p rin maabot ang band7..kaya trying to source out other option..

based on your info on your signature, kahit maging equivalent sa AU bachelor degree ang assessment sa vetassess, eh magiging 50pts + 5pts SS = 55 pts.. so hindi pa rin kayo aabot.. unless mag 489 kayo na regional temporary visa..

i suggest continue trying sa IELTS.. dont give up.. yung iba nga naka more than 5 ielts pa..

magreview center po kayo... at practice practice..

salamat po...d ko pa na update timeline ko..pwd n po ako.mag claim 8 yrs work kaya po 5 pts n lang po kulang para s visa 190..i 'll try both n lang po..vetassess pta and ielts...unahin ko vetassess ka submit ko lang today..f d mag ok mag book ako ielts..hopefully maging ok po...

hi @alexamae and @dreambig. wala na rin kayong nilagay dun sa box ng name of authority that issued the qualification? or you just wrote same as training institution (which is your school)?

Dun po sa tanong nyo nung nag try kmi mag fill-up ng form, NO po ang sagot sa Vocational Training kc nga po Degree ung meron, so wla na po ilalagay sa Date Training Started at Finished kc No po ung sagot. Then, dun sa Qualifications Obtained, ung degree nilagay namin which is BS ECE.

do i have to put CHED as the authority that issued the qualification even if it is not mentioned in the diploma given by the school?

Just want to give some information for those vocational/technical school graduates like me. I just received my skills assessment and it turned out unsuccessful on the grounds that 1st, my occupation which was 342315: Electronic Instrument Trades Person (special class) is supposed to be AQF IV but my course Instrumentation and control is deemed as AQF 3. Medyo double standards sila dito. If you guys scrolled back in this thread, @ynnozki had the same nominated occupation 342315 BUT according to his rejection letter, the minimum requirement is supposed to be certificate III in instrumentation and control which was different in my case. It is also stated in the DIBP website that the occupation would require an AQF 3 plus 2 years work experience or an AQF 4.

The other rejection reason was because they couldn't verify my school if it had a government quality assurance accreditation. In other words, the technical school's program should be within TESDA guidelines which is the institution that approves vocational trainings. I called up my school if I could have a copy of all the ISO certification and TESDA accreditation and they said they'd gladly help. But it does come with a price, the TRA review would be another 900 AUD plus I still have the first problem which was the certificate 3 and 4 confusion. Ngayon po, I'm trying to compose myself and see what else I could do, I already replied through email and I'm trying to look for an agent who specializes on trade assessment in the Philippines.

I'm not trying to scare anyone here, but hopefully you guys can do better.

Ok nagresearch ako ng konti, TRA is comparing existing training packages in Australia with your qualifications and you can find all the training packages sa https://training.gov.au/Home/Tga . Andito din lahat ng subjects that you should have in your course to get thru the qualifications part of TRA plus the corresponding ANSZCO code for the SOL. Nandito po lahat ng training package from chef, mason, matador, karpintero, latero, babero at marami pang iba. Napansin ko lang na medyo strict sila sa mga occupation na nasa SOL list which can go for a 189 visa.

For my case, looking at that website, nalaman ko na meron palang 7 na traning packages in Certificate/aqf 4 for 342315 at meron po isa na certificate/aqf III. I'm not an expert pero I'm hoping they did overlook that training package and they didn't compare it with mine. that's why I failed on the qualifications part. Sana nakatulong tong post ko sa mga nagbabalak pa magapply at nagugulumihanan. 🙂

@redvelvet nung July pa, nareceive ko nung November lang. Tumawag ako sa assessor mismo, at sabi niya nag upgrade daw sila ng qualifications. So yung dati na 342315 na occupation ko eh kelangan lang nq aqf III pero after November 2013 eh AQF IV na eto yung link http://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/Programs/Migration/Pages/FAQs.aspx# and look for the information below. He was kind enough to tell me that I could apply for a new application under 342314 naman at cert III lang kelangan dun and according to him my qualifications fit that occupation.

On a different topic, I received my IELTS remarking hehe I got 10 points now. I had RL at 8.5 then S at 7 at W at 6.5 dati. I asked for a remark for Writing and I got an increase to band 7.

Hi Im new here, planning to process for TRA ANZCO code 312312. Nagstart na akong mag collect ng mga docs. Question lang (1)Yong previous job ko nag bigay ng COE na may salary na, kailngan pa po bang mag produce ng payslip? If yes , paano po mga pd gawin kasi la na ako nun. (2) May COE ako na ang length of stay lang ang signed ng HR pero may attached job description na naka letterhead kailangan pa bang ipasign ulit yong JD? (3) Bakit di na naoopen ang TRA website? I need kasi to download the forms.
