@rahomevision, for the points in visa , Ung skill assessment ay isang component lang nun, and it is based on the number of years of experience the assessing body will credit. The rest will be age, educational attainment, etc.. you can download the brochure discussing this sa migration website.

For the skill assessment check mo yung chosen trade mo if you can safisfy the requirements with your experience. 9 years is more than enough to pass the assesment, 3 years lang require nila, but of course if you have more years, it will mean more points. You can use this to satisfy the points required in lodging the visa application.

To get the dgree assessment in education, they went to vetasses because its beyond TRAs scope. Hope this help. God speed sa application..

@rdagulan, ni check ko yung TradeSET website, eto pala ay self evaluation tool, so yung mga i provide mo na documents/requirement sa checklist dun eh either iverify or evaluate ng TRA, then mag decide sila if pede ka na mag proceed sa next path which i assume, trade test/interview sa AU..

Opo pero ang pathway 1 kc ay para lang sa mga non relevant qualification meaning mga thru experience lng ata natuto.... ung hubby ko ay bs degree naman di nga lang niya tinapos hanggang 3rd year college lang po... mas mahal po ang tech interview under dyan compare sa pathway 2... bka try namin sa pathway 2 bhala na sila mag evaluate ng educational backgroung niya... or kausapin namin ang adamson admin kung pede i convert n lng sa voc tech or associate ung nkuha niya may Tesda naman siya...

Question po about the TRA form sa Part 4 po pla, wala ako any vocational qualification or tranings and meron lng Degree qualification. Pa-advise po sana how to fill the part 4 po. Salamat!

another question po dun sa mga pumasa na sa TRA skills assestment, let say ok na po yung TRA Skills Assessment, ano po pla ang ma receive natin na results from TRA and anong documents? Ano yung mga nka indicate sa results?

Meron kasi ko nabasa na TRA Migration Points Advice for visa application, meaning po , kailangan pa po ba natin ito after ng successful TRA Skills assessment?

@rahomevision pag magreadback ka, may mababasa ka na keep it blank lang po. Yan din ang ginawa ko, wala pa pong result ang application ko they are asking for additional docs and Im gathering it now. Di ko nga alam kung paano ko ibibigay ang additional docs, kung dhl ulit, may deadline kasi.. kailangan umabot..

@rahomevision - besides being a mandatory requirement for your visa application, it also states what is your equivalent australian qualification and it also says the date you were able to start as a qualified tradesperson in your nominated occupation. Since TRA can only assess up to diplomas and not degrees, once you pass the skills assessment, this is only enough to give you at 10 points in education towards your visa application. You want to get 15 points for education then you'll have to get an educational assessment from vetasses even if what course you graduated is not related to your nominated occupation.

The points test advice is optional and only used to support your visa application with regards to years of experience. The skills assessment tells you what date you were able to start in your nominated occupation and if you can prove all the years of <b><i>"closely related"</i></b> work experience after that date, then you don't have to take the points test advice.

@Adamantium Thank you so much sa helpful information. No Need na pla ng Test point advice as long as ma prove mo yung "closely related" work experience sa skills assessment.. As for the educational assessment, Vetasses pala to get the max of 15 points.

@adamantium my assesor is asking me for additional docs, but its not clear kung he still needs it on print or scanned copy will be enough. Any idea? I asked him pero di parin siya nagrereply. May deadline kasi 5 days from now, kung i dhl ko ulit sa mailroom ulit bagsak nito, bka it will not reach his desk before his deadline.

Based po sa link, dapat pla po successful na yung skills assessment before going sa Education qualification and need pa po ba ng referral sa assessing authority which is yung TRA? Di po pla pwde sabay i submit yung skills and educational assessment para mkatipid at mapabilis sana.. Sayang din kc dpat ma maximize yung points po...

Another thing po pla, may nabasa ko sa EOI form .. Nandun yung part ng reference number ng Skills assessment. So pano nman po pla yung education qualification assessment if nag pa assess sa vetasses, ang question po meron din po bang field ng reference number sa EOI form?

I recieved my asessment and its Successful! All glory to God! My Electrical Engineering degree was assessed as AQF diploma. O magtanong na yong may mga doubts.. hehehe.
