Okay lang po ba to or magpapa RPL pa ako?

Any clarification on the method of payment acceptable to TRA?

Ano po ang bank na na nag aacept ng demand draft in Australian Dollar?

I visited PNB and Metrobank mentioned earlier pero wala daw silang Australian currency.

Everything is already prepared for submission problema ko na lang yung payment.

Any help extended will be highly appreciated.

Sa application form po, handwritten po ba ito or pwede edit ko nalang ang pdf?

Ang sagot nasa first page ng form hahaha dapat hand made daw!

Dun po sa tanong nyo nung nag try kmi mag fill-up ng form, NO po ang sagot sa Vocational Training kc nga po Degree ung meron, so wla na po ilalagay sa Date Training Started at Finished kc No po ung sagot. Then, dun sa Qualifications Obtained, ung degree nilagay namin which is BS ECE.

Helo po, ilang weeks po ang processing times nyo sa TRA bago may result?

Sana mabilis lang kasi nag apply din kami ng NSW SS.

Dapat mauna ang TRA result kasi nag eexpire and NSW SS nomination 🙁

Nakatanggap po ako ng Mail from TRA.

Jan 14 po natanggap ang documents and payment ko, tapos Jan 16 sila nagmail sakin ng receipt of application and payment. Jan 22 ko na natanggap sa mailbox namin.

Sabi dun sa email 60 days daw po ang turn around time ng processing nila ngayon.

Hahaha salamat.. Naku okay na okay po talaga sa akin ang pangingi alam nyo kasi it was a big help and eye opener kasi minsan akala natin okay na ang lahat di pa pala hahaha...

hello, @ace_jef. Just to clarify with your comment to @alexamae "no need for RPL , CoE is related to ICT". Does it also apply to me? I have 8 years experience as ICT CSO but my qualifications (bs pysch+ masters educ) is unrelated to my ICT experience. If not, then I will have to go fo RPL path. How do I apply for RPL? Is it an external process or the Coe statements documenting my 8 years ICT CSO experience is sufficient to get RPL recognition by TRA? Cheers

When I checked the TRA website eto ang nakita ko:

From 26 November 2012 Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) will no longer have an approved registered training organisation available to conduct skills assessments for temporary (457) or permanent migration for the following occupations:

Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Avionics)

Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical)

Applicants for temporary migration whose nominated occupation is Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) should contact the Department of Immigration and Citizenship directly to discuss skills assessment requirements for their visa at www.immi.gov.au/contacts/.

Applicants for permanent migration whose nominated occupation is Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) or Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) will be required to apply for a skills assessment through TRA’s Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) program. Please see the MSA applicant guidelines on TRA’s website for program information.

We are planning on applying either under 189 or 489 (Relative sponsored), question is san sya magpapa-assess? Which visa is more relevant for us (family of 4)? Thank you 🙂

@Mdy - you should be able to apply for assessment sa TRA under the Migration Skills Assessment Program. Check their website and download the MSA program brochure..

ang ibig lang po nilang sabihin sa "TRA will no longer have an approved registered training organisation available to conduct skills assessments", ay hindi na po pwedeng mag-pa-assess sa mga 3rd party assessment agency like Vetassess at Victoria University (for the occupations mentioned)..
Visa is not based on number of family members.. there are several factors to consider in selecting the correct visa subclass... like: is your occupation in SOL or CSOL, is your total points =>60 points?

please check other threads in the forum to get more information..

@lock_code2004 oh okay. I have download the MSA guidelines and application form. We'll to send the documents before February ends.

Actually my husband has 60 points granting that he will have a overall score pf 7 in IELTS. Pero just for the sake of higher points kaya we're comsidering visa 489 since my hisband's cousins we're all permanent resident of Australia. Ako naman, registered nurse pero dahil kelangan ko pa mag-bridging course etc so hindi na kami kukuha ng points from partner. We have decided to do the whole application without an agent kasi that will save us a lot of money na pwede namen i-allocate sa mga ibang requirements and fees. Pag 60 points ba malaki na ang chance na makakuha ng invitation sa 189?

@Mdy - several inputs po based on your comments above:

ielts score should be 7 in each band para makuha ang 10pts (not Overall score po)
for visa 489 (relative sponsor), your occupation should be in SOL
kung nasa CSOL, your other option is visa 489 din pero Regional Sponsor (not relative sponsor)
for visa 189, dapat din po nasa SOL ang nominated occupation nyo
malaki nmn po ang chance ng 60pts for visa 189, marami na po ang nainvite lalo na kung very specific ang skill nyo at wala pang masyadong nag-aapply...

@lock_code2004 thank you for clarifying the ielts scoring to me. Dapat pala no score below 7 lahat ng band. Pwede na ba magpa-assess sa TRA even if hindi pa kami decided which visa to apply for? Husband ko kasi mas preferred nya yung 489 dahil gusto nya malapit sa mga relative nya to make it easier for us to settle down if ever.

Btw sir, ako kasi ang nagcocollate ng mga documents ng husband ko. And we'll be processing this application on our own. Sayang kasi yun 3500aud for the agent eh nabasa ko halos kami din ang gagawa ng lahat. I may need your inputs on some details kaya sana wag kayo magsasawa sumagot sa mga questions. Thank you 🙂

@Mdy - opo pwede na pong magpa-assess khit hindi pa alam ang visa type na gusto nyo applyan..

i think hindi pa rin po requirement ang IELTS sa assessment (please double check), so pwde nyo na isubmit ang TRA, then while waiting for the assessment result, pwede na magreview and exam ng IELTS
489 visa is Temporary valid only for 4 years, compared to visa 190 na Permanent Residence visa na, normally po i-encourage lang kmuha ng 489 kung kulang talga sa EOI points.. kasi nga 10pts ang 489 sponsorship... pero kung 60pts naman na po kayo (without relative sponsorship) eh pwede na po kayo sa visa 190 (state sponsorship).. pwede nmn kayo tumira sa relative nyo kahit na hindi sila ang sponsor nyo..
no problem po. that is the primary purpose of this forum..
