Online Application - Tourist Visa Parent

@moonwitchbleu naggrant talaga ang australia ng longer visa for parents (ng mga PR and citizen). Pero meron dapat mameet para magrant yun sa pagkakatanda ko if yung parent is naka parent migration dapat hindi pa for process yung papers.

Kung hindi siya naka parent migration ang requirement niya is dapat nakatravel na siya to australia before and nameet niya yung visa conditions (siguro yan yung mga nifollow nila visa nila and hindi nagoverstay etc.). Pwede sila igrant ng 3 yrs multiple entry visa.

Hindi ko na maalala kung meron pa additional requirements diyan dahil nakalimutan ko na din yung link kung saan ko siya nabasa pero yan ang excerpt ng nabasa ko dati (parang ganun ang logic) hehe 🙂

ahhh, kasi sa case ni @goreo hindi pa sila naka initial entry so most likely first time tourist din ng mom nila.

hi @moonwitchbleu, siguro dahil PR kami and as @muffles127 said, walang application for parent migration.. and si mother pala is 52 yrs old pa lang ha so its not the age siguro..

first time tourist si mother pero kami ni wife and son nakapag-initial entry na 2 years ago..

this january 7 lang sya na-grant..

about the factor, ngayon ko lang naalala, dun kasi sa application nya meron ganito:

"Give details of any significant dates on which the applicant needs to be in Australia:"

baka lang eto yung factor kaya naapprove ng much longer..not sure though ha..eto lang ang naisip ko na baka pwedeng maging factor..

now that mother has been granted a visa, one condition is that she has to maintain Health Insurance for her stay..and because she was granted with a maximum stay period of 12 mos, she needs to have a year long Health Insurance coverage.. ang mahal pala nun!! nagcheck ako online, ang range nya is around 40k PHP!!

hi @goreo, it's probably the significant dates. as for my friend naman who's mom was also granted 3 years tourist visa, may naka mention kasi sa akin before na pag subsequent application something eh ma-grant daw ng 3 years, baka thats the reason.

yeah, napaka understanding nga kung ganon. wala bang naka lagay na condition sa visa ng mom mo na after a year stay in au they need to exit for atleast 6 months bago makabalik dito? ganyan ang condition ng visa sa friend ko kasi.

guys nag backread ako wala akong nakita na nakamention if they specified the health insurer sa application. may i know po if nilagay nyo din no? tia

Kapag po ba nagrant sila ng 18months or 3years validity kailangan nila ng health insurance like oshc? Pwede bang yung period lang ng stay nila like a month yung kunin na insurance?

hi guys, na submit ko na ang application ng mom ko. sobrang dami naman ng requirements. ang weird pa nung iba like custody, military service, military discharge, study, Consent for travel of a child under the age of 18. may iba bang ganito din ang required? Ay recommended lang pala nakalagay.

i wonder if need pa ba ako mag provide ng family composition, temporary stay, asset?
ano po ginamit nyong proof of temporary stay? wala kasing (?) so no idea what to upload here.
sa mga hindi na nag CTC nung docs nila may naka lagay ba sa (?) on every requirement nang application nyo na 'Certified Copy'?

@goreo thanks sa reply. Lahat ng docs sa visa application page eh recommended lang naman. so susundin ko na lang din mga in-upload nyo na docs. And sa invitation ko i included our birth certificates and marriage cert kasi iba na ang name ko sa name ng mom ko, proof ng relation namin since ako yung sasagot sa lahat ng expenses nya dito.

May mali nga lang akong na upload. I uploaded my and hubby's payslip sa proof of financial capabilities, which hindi dapat kasi it's supposed to be my mom's and not ours. sana lang hindi ito maka affect, hindi pa naman pwde i.undo.

Hi guys! I submitted my Tourist Visa application last January 29 through their online website. However, it's been 3 weeks to be exact and my application still says "In Progress". Does anyone here experience the same thing?

Though i know processing still depends on one's profile so am a bit nervous since i haven't tried applying for any type of visa before just had few short trips in Hongkong and Macau.

I would like to know if i need to submit certified true copies/ notarized docs even if i submitted Scanned color docs since I've read some post on Australian Forum that it's okay not to have it certified as long as the original docs are colored scanned. Does anyone here have positive results without submitting notarized docs?

hi @juliannez23, baka kulang ka sa requirements? pero mag-rerespond naman sila thru email if may kulang..wait lang ng onti siguro..

and about certified true copies, sa experience namin, di na namin pinacertify, scan lang and colored..

@goreo Thank you sa response. ☺ I submitted all possible docs na puwede ko ibigay. I even submitted my birth certificate through NSO hotline and have it delivered to Australia Embassy kahit nakaindicate sa website na i should wait for consul request before submission of birth certicate just to make sure i have completed the requirements.

Here's what I have submitted:

1) Passport with entry/exit stamps

2) Passport pic

3) COE, ITR 2316, 2 months latest payslip, 2 months latest credit card statement

4) Letter of Approved leaves

5) My bank statements and bank certificates

6) Invitation letter from boyfriend/sponsor

7) Birth certificate and Financial docs of sponsor

Still hoping for positive results and sana hindi abutin ng 2 months.

@goreo required lang ba ang Medical kapag 1 year or more yung length of visit?

balak ko kasi i-apply ang mother ko (63yo) for tourist visa, pero initially 1 month lang muna length of stay nya
