Again with regards sa topic ng thread na to, 3 months na ako dito sa Darwin at nagustuhan ko ang work life balance dito, walng long commute unlike Sydney and since your paid by the hour, mag extend ka man, bayad ka (unlike nung nagwo work pa ako sa Singapore, puros OTY).

im not sure if actively checking this website pa din po kayo pero hingi sana ako ng advise sa lahat about sa car renting or buying a car (second hand). What is the average renting po dyan for one room in a shared flat?

Preparing to submit my final application to Darwin before the year ends and part of the writeup is to provide the expected expenses and I want to make sure na close to reality po ang aking write ups.

SG rin po ako been here for 8 years. Planning to submit my papers soon. Complete na un aking requirements except for some write-ups.

Would sir please give me an idea magkano po ang monthly renting and have you bought your car po? around magkano po budge and ideally po ano ba mas dapat.

Buy a car or rent lang po?

Result for my NT State Sponsorship came last 29 Jan 2016.

I got offerred subclass 489 po, instead of 190. Praise God for the blessing.

Gusto ko lang po malaman pano ko po mainclude un my now fiancee. Kasi po hindi ko na din muna sya sinama sa initial application- 1 mahal po pag dalawa sa agency, second po aantayin ko pa maging oks mga documents nya and gusto ko po sana makahabol ng January 16 Submission.

With God's grace po I got offered 489, pano po ba ang change status?

Mahirap po ba?

@archbunki congrats!!!! ang alam ko u can apply for your fiance as defacto partner... I suggest just take it one step at a time...secure your 489 visa first...get a job here and then once settled kna you can then work on applying for your fiancee as a de facto partner. And then after 2 yrs pwede kna magapply ng PR.

@archbunki wla ako idea processing time ng defacto...depende din siguro sa mga docs. na maproprovide nyo para majustify na defacto partner kayo. Assuming na complete docs. nyo and high priority nman un 489...the most siguro is 3 months. Gud luck!

@markjohn if you are a student, there is a nice student accommodation around casuarina for around $200. This is a shared accommodation for students.

Anyone here who can help???? I'm from Sydney, mahirap ba ang buhay sa Darwin? I'm under student visa for 3yrs already.. Plano namin ng partner ko nang lumipat sa Darwin.. Madali bang makahanap ng work? Currently working ako sa Community Services at Retirement Village dito sa Sydney
