School listed as section 1! Ano I big sabihin

Confuse and lost talaga ako ngayon

I want to ask if ano Ibig sabihin pg ang school from the Philippines is listed as section 1.

I'm a graduate of a bachelors degree sa pinas and I heard pwede daw mg claim ng points if your school is listed to be of equivalent bachelors degree dito sa Australia. I am planning to apply for 190 visa and kulang ako ng points and nalaman ko pwede daw mg claim ng points for that.

Any thoughts about this. Please help

Note: During my time when i lodged my application (that was long before July 2011), although my school belongs to Section 2, CPA Australia assessed my degree as comparable to australian bachelor's degree.

section 2 din school ko pero 15 binigay sa akin ng vetassess. i think it must something to do with professional license as being CPA so parang automatic magiging comparable sya as AU bachelors degree

I can assure you it has nothing to do with your transcript.

As far as I know, the following are the factors in determining if your degree is equivalent to an AU Bachelors degree:

1.) School Section

2.) Total Number of Units in your Degree

3.) Grades

4.) If you the Passed Licensure exams

Items# 2 and 3 can only be determined through your TOR.

So even if your School comes from Section 2 or 3, as long as Items#s 2-4 suffices the requirements to be commensurate to an AU Bachelors degree.. yun ang makukuha mong assessment.

@Andoy31 Hi, if the school is under section 2, letran - bsba comp. management but ACS will assess it as AQF bachelors degree - does it mean 15 points ang pwedeng i-claim?

Ang alam ko, ung relevance ng units sa job code mo ung tinitignan. Pati din ata grades. Though not sure.

schools in CEP Sec 1 are quite straight forward, equivalent to Bachelor's degree. Sec 2 ung mejo hindi kasi madaming consideration like grades and units earned.

Pati po ba title ng qualification nakaka affect (e.g. certificate or diploma)? section 3 po kasi school ko, 2 years tech voc ako pero nagkaproblema sa TESDA kaya instead na diploma, certificate po linagay sa qualification. Yung inonominate ko po kasing occupation comparable to AQF Diploma daw dapat as per TRA.
