Even visa holders hirap makahanap work lalo na pag nasa labas ng Au..unless sought after ang skills mo, an employer can sponsor you to have a 457 visa..kung di ka eligible for a skilled worker visa, best option is to get a student visa ( to really attend school) then after that ayusin mo na lang visa mo to be eligible to work

@fgs I actually check the 457 but I'm not entitled for the skilled, I'm a nurse but w/o license and schooling also is the option given to me so just trying to explore pa agencies here naman offers male position for Au.

Need anybody's opinion po. In my case, I need state sponsorship for South Australia to have additional 5 pts & get a total of 60 pts. Kaso lang, based from feedback online & sa friends, wala o halos wala job opportunity daw sa Industrial Engineer & its related positions ie. planner, operations/manufacturing supervisor sa South Australia. Do u think it's advisable for me to proceed for South Australia state sponsorship (for visa 190)? or try muna other options to gain additional points (such as from IELTS, Partner Skills) para makapag-visa 189? I'm confused 😉

@IslanderndCity Yung occupation mo ba under 233511 IE? Medium availability na sya sa SA. If u apply for SA SS the processing time will take 3 weeks, while waiting for it you can re-take IELTS. If u claim 5 pts under Partner SKills you need ur partner to get their skills assessed also and need din nya mag IELTS. Parang meron ako na read dito na indi nakita nang work in a certain state tapos nagpaalam nang maayos at pinayagan naman. Just weigh in ur options and consider the time frame. Goodluck po.

If SA will invite me 3 weeks from now with 60 pts., do I have the option to lodge visa 189 instead? Or magiging back to 55 pts nalang ako if I won't lodge for visa 190?

@IslanderndCity SA will only approved your SS, but DIBP will invite you. Tapos locked na po EOI nyo sa 190.

1st yung timeframe. Nagbabgo ang rules. If pasok ang profession mo today sa SA SS di natin alam bukas.

2nd, if 189 gusto mo you would know by yourself kung makukuha mo yung 7 sa ielts.

3rd pwede nyong i-try yung SA and move after two years kung ayaw nyo. Baka naman magustuhan nyo dun and you will land on a job that you like pero di nyo akalain na gusto nyo pala.

Tama po, rules keep on changing especially malapit na July when it usually occurs. I believe, it's more practical & efficient for me to opt for SA SS visa 190. Habang may opening pa for IE & sa nag-iisang state.

Lord God I trust in u that this is the best decision now.

submit EOI po muna, tick 190 and SA only (seloso po SA)

tapos submit SA SS separately po. Once SA SS approved, automatic po ang invitation from DIBP. Locked na po ang EOI niyo and you have 60 days to lodge a valid visa application po.

@islanderndcity ..depende sa state, kung naglapse na 60 days at di ka nagapply, you can apply another state sponsorship..nasa state na kung bigyan ka uli ng sponsorship...you can also apply state sponsorship sabay with other states provided na nadon din occupation mo sa state occupation list...DIBP dept of immigration and border protection...may skills assessment ka na ba?
