I just got accepted in Flinders. Tanong ko lang if residing on Paralowie would be a bad idea since approximately 2hours away siya from the school? Do you think manageable naman ito considering the contact hours for a BSN study?

@GoldSeeker your nearest train station is parafield gardens, buses usually start 5:30 if im not mistaken and only buses on major routes operates late...you can check adelaidemetro.com.au to see how and when the bus leave your res to flinders

I did na po. 120-140mins usually. Sayang naman kasi kung magrent ako sa iba. I also checked the subject schedules and mukhang onti lang ang contat hours dahil most lectures are held online, Accurate ba ang info nila or kailangan din mag-allott ng extra time sa planned trip? May I also know if you are a student there?

@GoldSeeker on time ang sked ng bus, kung konti lang face to ace session di naman masyado mahirap, unless araw araw medyo pagod din yan...Di ako student..living sa northern suburb din mas malapit sa city

Thanks! I've read on some previous posts that unlike in other states, mas rampant ang racism in Adelaide. Hanggang ngayon ba ganon pa rin ang situation?

Hello mga kabayan! I'm new here and i want to get info from you who are already there in adelaide. I recently got my grant -SA sponsored and my family and i are planning to make our entry by October. It would only be for a short time, since we are not ready to yet to settle permanently there. Ang tanong ko lang po - do we have make our first entry in SA or pwede sa ibang state? May nabasa rin ako sa SA immigration site na kelangan i-register ang arrival sa SA pero wala naman nabanggit kung pano mag register. I hope you can help answer my questions. Thanks!

@retab anywhere po pwede kung short visit lang. Sa permanent move niyo na po i-register ang arrival niyo dito sa SA. Congrats!

@retab you can have your initial entry anywhere in australia..importante is mavalidate yong visa mo thru immigration..an email will be sent to you with the link to register your arrival in SA.

Hi fellow kabayans, just arrived here with my wife last Friday on a 489 visa. Ask lang sana kami ng suggestions/advice/help regarding any jobs na pwede naming applyan. At naghahanap rin po kame ng private room for rent. Salamat! 🙂
