@bambina SA state has strict guidelines in water conservation or even victoria. Dont know with other states. Pati mag car wash at your own backyard minsan bawal. Whats good about SA is that they have a desalination plant which means they have other source of water supply aside from getting it from murray river.

Di ko lang sure how long it will take but in case you haven't received it in 28 days, you can ring them to check. Once it's done, they'll mail it to the postal address na binigay mo during the application.

I'm still waiting for mine to be posted, probably not too soon. 🙂

Hope to meet you guys soon. I'll be coming over in 2 months time, sa ngayon, stay lang muna ko saglit sa Sydney to visit my aunt. Hanap-hanap na din ng work jan habang andito. Btw, I'm a Sys Ad for Lotus Notes/AD/Exchange/Customer Service Engineer.. Jack of all trades. 😃 Hopefully, makahanap agad para maka "make the move" na ko dyan.

Reply to @donking: Of course it's okay. 😃 It cost us around 83K (2 adults + 1 child). And yes it's through Qantas. :-)

Reply to @donking: Of course sir it would be logically lower. 😃 Pero di ka pa din makakaligtas sa 10K+ na travel tax. Grabe noh. Better inquire coz the rates are changing from time to time. In USD ung usapan so pag nag-fluctuate sa forex uusog din ung rate nila. You're always welcome and see you soon bro. :-)

Reply to @donking: Ayos! 😃 Yung nangyari lang sakin mejo malayo ung quote dun sa actual ng mga more or less 8k I think. Or baka kasi di pa nila sinasama yung service fee nila dun. Pamasahe lang nilatag nila. Ang nakakatawa lang nung nagaantay ako ng bank details nila sobrang hapit in-email nila sakin ng 12:53PM tapos gusto nila by 2PM na-send na sa kanila yung scannep copy ng deposit slip. @-) Kumaripas ako ng takbo papunta sa pinakamalapit na Chinabank kahit umuulan! Hahaha! Pag di daw kasi naihabol magiiba na naman ang rate kinabukasan. So much for that, all in all it's really a good deal and a big help for us 1st-time migrants. Di ko nga alam kung ano yung catch jan eh. Alam mo naman tayong mga Pinoy pag nakakamura we tend to wonder kung ano yung catch bakit ganun di kasi tyo sanay. :-) Yes, see you soon! Hello po! May question po ako. Kasi po im scheduled to study this october sa UniSA. Pwede po ba mag stay muna sa sydney ng ilang days bago punta jan sa adelaide?kasi plan ko sana visit sa relatives ko sa sydney at para direct flight na din kasi parang dko alam pag may stop-over, first time ko po kasi mag out of the country.hehe if ever pwede po do i have to declare din na andun ako sa address ng relatives ko?plsss help po..tia 

Hi Shrewd, welcome to SA.

That's not a problem, you can enter anywhere in Australia. In the declaration card just write the address of your relatives. Sa Sydney din ako dati nag initial entry since andun lahat ng kapatid ko.

Tara EB na to! Kaso sa January pa ako sir dadating mga 2nd week. Set na lang ulit ng EB kung di ko abutan. :-P I'm also hoping na makakuha agad ng work i'm losing hope when i browse www.seek.com.au alang gaanong vacant sa line of work ko. I'm a software developer by the way (UNIX C/C++) with SysAd skills (Linux/Solaris).

Wala po ba talagang visa label ang student visa?kasi po tinatanong ako mga relatives ko baka daw magkaprob sa airport/immi pag aalis nako..la kasi ako idea dito promise hehe
If ever po I have questions regarding my visa san po ako pwede magtanong?do i have to go straight to the embassy?kailangan po ba mag pdos pa kahit stud visa lang po?
Regarding sa sinabi po ni @sohc san po ba makikita yung declaration card na yun?kasi po dko din po alam yun..

..sorry po if madaming tanong,i applied on my own po kasi kaya no idea ako sa mga ganung bagay.wala pako matanungan kaya i really need your help guys baka meron po nakakaalam sainyo plssss share po..thanks po ng marami!!

Reply to @Shrewd: i'll answer #1 and #2 as i have no idea about #3.

#1: Inalis na po talaga ng AUS ang visa label. We may find this corny pero ganun na sila ngayon and I think sila pa lang ang naka-ganito and in the near future di malabong gawin din to ng ibang bansa. All you need to bring is your visa grant letter.

#2: You can ask the AUS embassy for inquiries. For PDOS, no need for it coz the seminar is for migrants only.

Just correct me guys if I'm wrong. 😃
