I'm planning to apply for 189 Visa, how much do i expect to spend?

then add mo pa cost of the following:

IELTS
certified true copy ng mga documents
NBI clearance
medical exam

bulk ng expenses is the Visa fee mentioned by @chalibee

Anyway, The agents have a prescribed fee. Cant find the link now but if you have an FB account, DIBP has their own account and the link for the prescribed fees for agents are there. I think max is $4500. My agent billed me $3000. 🙂 If you have the patience to read through all the manuals relevant to your application and the various forums na you can access through the net, and if you have all the time and effort in the world, then pwede ka namang di mag agent. @sanusijr

Depende kung saan ka magpa-skills assessment but some authorities would require a hard copy being sent. Case in point sa wife ko when she had hers sa CPA Australia, we had to send a hard copy of her files.

Hello, I am not sure if this is the proper thread to post this in. So, I apologize in advance if this post is a little out of place. I have an existing visa (573), which is valid until March 2018. However, I am planning on applying for a visa 189.

I have the following questions:

Can a visa be lodged (i.e 189) while holding a valid visa (i.e. 573)
Would the existence of a valid visa cause an application for a different visa to be denied ?
Would the approval of a new visa cause the existing one to be cancelled ?

I am not too sure what is a 573 but I am sure there is nothing that prevents you from applying for a 189 if you are qualified.

Surely not, I had an existing visa before I got my 189 (albeit it was a tourist visa) and there were no dramas.

yes, you can only hold one visa. going back to my case, the tourist visa was cancelled when we got our 189.
