hi lockcode, yes, i have read the thread already but this query is something different. arki ing hubby ko and sa visa nya ditto sa use ay mechanical draftsman and line of work nya. since mechanical draftsman say, di xa covered ng vet assess and instead sa engrs australia xa included. question is, may nakatry na ba sa forumers na arki who went to EA for assessment? masyado madugo and rests nil a lalo na young CDR which is not applicable for my husband kasi halos drafting lang naman ginagawa nya

oh i see.. hindi ko napansin na mech draftsperson pala..

question: entirely iba po ba ang ginagawa nya sa ibang mga draftsperson, i mean, check ung ibang draftsperson na anzsco code (na hindi sa EA ang assessment) at kung malapit dun ang job description nyabaka pwede naman po na dun i tailor fit ang mga COE+Job Description nya..

kung wala talaga, eh EA po talaga ang mech engr drafstperson..

we have checked na pero dun talaga sila for assessment. difficulty now lies on the documentation part since pag mechanical draftsperson ka, wala naman masyadong career eiposeds yun na pwede isulat sa CDR. everyday is the same and work is normally fed by the engineers. sana po mayron sa mga taga forum na makapagbigay ng tips sa amin how to proceed with the process.

Hi! we are currently in Abu Dhabi planning to Migrate to OZ by June 2013... I just want to ask if mas mabuti bang dalhin yung LCD TV galing UAE or mas practical ang bumili ng TV sa OZ... Alin ba yung mga practical na mga gamit na mas mabuting dalhin from UAE to OZ... Thanks!

@wenzhel - medyo busy na yata ang mga taga UAE.. kaya ako sasagot.. ex-UAE.. lol..

@adelle_82 - kung wala ka pang permanent place to stay mahirap magdala ng maraming gamit.. or pwede nyo nmn ipa-ship (by sea), to arrive atleast 2months after, just in time meron na kayong permanent place..

pero kung hassle pa yun, ibenta nyo na lang, or i uwi sa pinas...

@lock_code2004 thanks...I have the same concern as adelle_82...but based sa mga nabasa sa forums e di nga practical to bring big appliances...pero we really need to ship of our things here in Dubai kc d nmn namin madadala ng sabay sabay...you have any idea which items ang possible magkaproblema sa custom..actually my wife will ship them to me pag me nakuha nako bahay...I'll be arriving in Adelaide on April 10 then my wife and my son have to stay here in Dubai until my son finishes his school on June...eto mga basics n plan namin ipadala:

clothes and hangers

shoes

baking pans and mixer

media com set (videoke)

toys

utensils and plates

books and magazines

religious statues

wooden crucifix

So far eto pa lang nasa list...yung TV e baka di n namin ipadala kc d daw malalagyan ng insurance e baka masira lng sa byahe...

anyone who could give inputs on this will be much appreciated..Salamat

guys, with regard to passport visa stamping pala...di ba d nmn required na nakastamp sa passport yung visa as long as you have a copy of the grant letter and notice? although, mas maganda pag nakastamp na...

matagal b magpstamp, i mean yung appointment be e matagal kc I barely have 2 weeks here in Dubai before flying to Adelaide...how much will it cost for family of 3 and do we have to be all present in the embassy or pedeng ako lng? thanks

@wenzhel - bawal po ang anything made in wood... kahit maliit na alahas, photo frame na wood bawal... posible kasing may mga insects daw na makaka-affect sa mga environment sa australia.. kahit na mga religious statues pa po na wood...

sympre lalong bawal ang mga food, kahit anong pagkain..

medyo mahigpit po sila, kaya double check nyo pati mga laruan baka may mga wood..

or pati mga shoes, baka may mga damo or kahit konting lupa... 😉

@wenzhel - yup hindi na required ang visa label, basta dala mo lang ang copy ng visa grant mo.. but if you want you can still have it for a fee..

24 November 2012: Visa Evidencing Charge in effect from 24 November 2012

Effective 24 November 2012,if an Australian visa holder wishes to have a visa label affixed in a passport there will be an application process and additional charge.

VFS visa application centres across GCC are able to accept an application for visa evidencing and this will be forwarded to the Australian Consulate General in Dubai for processing.

Nagreply sakin ang VFS and me bayad na nga AED280 per visa ata then me mga dditional charges pa...di na lang muna kami magpa-stamp...

pre, forgot to ask...napost ko na rin sa forum...about bringing medicines, mahigpit din ba? I am diabetic and I have to bring with me my maintenance...Kelangan ba me kasamang doctor's certificate or prescription?

I also read here about entering OZ from Philippines yung sa tungkol s PDOS at CFO...so kelangan me ganon yung wife ko pag sumunod na clang mag-ina sakin...Mauuna kc ako going there from Dubai then sunod lng cla after ilang months...Dito sa Dubai ala nmn ganong requirements pag dito ka manggagaling? Salamat...

yup dapat atleast may prescriptions ka para incase tanungin nila eh may ipapakita ka..
yup, kung manggagaling sila sa pinas, definitely kailangan nila ng pdos/cfo ...

mukhang okay nmn ang mga yan for personal use.. but i have not tried though.. 😉

@wenzhel Hi, galing po kami ng Dubai. We moved here last Dec. sa experience namin eh mas mabuting damit lang dalhin nyo para hindi mahirap magbyahe unless may matitirahan na kayong permanent pwede nyo po ipa ship mga appliance nyo... In our case iniwan namin lahat sa pinas para mobile kami d2.. 🙂

@Oyin actually, i'll be going to Adelaide alone muna on April then magsettle at makahanap ng permanent accommodation...then my wife will ship our items here in Dubai pero minimal lang like what I've mentioned in the previous threads...

Ang soooooooobrang mahAl dito ay yung mga pagkapapangit na damit at shoes. Nagpatahi ako sa karama ng dalawang suits at nagdala din ako ng European shoes na medyo may kamahalan dyan. Worth it!

Salamat at binigyan mo ako ng tip sa damit...actually, naisip ko na talaga magpatahi ng formal clothes dito para d hassle pagating ko jan...how much ba sa karama patahi ng suit including tela na yun ha?
