september is flower festival in toowomba.. Daming pinoy punta , isa na kami doon.

But we are in Brisbane area so mga 1 hr++ drive.

@rylynn punta rin po kami ng partner ko sa toowoomba sa september mukhang maganda ung festival.. 🙂 currently nagiisip kami ano sasakyan galing brisbane since wala naman train na papunta doon.. 🙂

We will move to Toowoomba by end of May. May alam ba kayong temporary accommodations na pwede namin tirhan? or through realestate.com/ domain.au lang? Saan suburb dun maganda, ung convenient going to the city. thanks

@basia hi po, I am moving to Toowoomba on March 5. Naghahanap po ako ng room for rent or kahit bedspace lang. Sa initial entry ko, I will be with my husband and my son but they will stay 3 months max kasi tourist visa lang sila. If you can give me any heads up regarding accommodations, I appreciate it so much.

Toowoomba, as mentioned by @agentKams is a place for family; nice weather. Been here since 2008 as a 457 visa holder and never left. Lot of parks and green areas, newly constructed mall (big?), lots of Pinoys (including a priest). Everything is here......

Toowoomba is projected to boom due to the second range crossings, industrial areas are emerging due to this (Charlton area). And the airport (international) built recently is another factor.

Downside; seafoods , you need to drive all the way to Brisbane (Inala) to buy them. But, overall, great place to start.

And yes, i agree to all of that. Great place to start with family kasi available na lahat.

i mean fresh 😃, yes you're right, mahal and sometimes un nga freshness... 2 stores offering somehow fresh seafoods in TWMBA.

@malt any work? mostly yes, odd jobs like cleaning or sa abbatoir meron. may mgrefer lang sayo, that would be good.

About sa house share, none that i know of. pero madali lang makarent ng house dito. i suggest may mauna sa inyo kahit one month to settle iyong accomodation/car ninyo para hindi hassle.
