@SGtoAU hi po good day. Actually sana mabigyan mo ako ng idea about sa 489 in queensland. Currently po closed sila for state nomination. Pero before sila mag closed eh open ang nominated occupation ko as building inspector - 312113 . To sum up sa points ko is 55 + 10 points (SS) pra maging 65 points ako. Is that enough for me pra ma invite rin? Kasi if ever hindi pa sya oks eh kukuha sna ako ng points sa english pra maging plus 10 points which is magiging 75 points sna pero namamahalan ako sa english exam kaya mag try sna ako muna sa 65 points. Sa tingin mo ba oks na 65 points pra ma invite if ever ng queensland? At gaano kaya katagal bago ma invite ang 65 pointers lng? Tia

@charlieuae ako na po muna sasagot almost similar case kami kasi ni @SGtoAU ...ang 55+10 enough na po para ma invite kayo kasi 65 lang naman ang requirements which is yon ang nagyari sa amin...pero kung gusto nyo po you can still try getting points sa english while waiting for the invite para at least kung may additional points kayo sa English mas malaki po chance ninyo mainvite...queensland din po kami at 65 points...kung gaano katagal po mainvite hindi kopo sure pero sa amin pag lodge namin last year within three weeks lang nainvite napo kami..kaya lodge lang po ng visa app at wala naman po mawawala...

@shugs0719 hi thanks sa reply. May nabasa akonsa thread na hindi daw pataasan ang queensland in terms of invites. First come first serve daw sila. Nag submit na ako ng eoi last few days ago. But unfortunately yung nomination ngayun eh closed na at magaantay ako till july this year. Kung oks lng sau ano po yung nominated occupation nyo sa queensland? San kaya makikita yung mga eoi na ang noninated occupation eh same ng sakin which is building inspector. Thank you ha.

As per your research and experience pla mas oks ba yung ginawa ko na nag submit ng eoi kahit close pa yung queensland at the moment or mas maganda kung inantay ko yung july muna bago ako nag submit ng eoi? @charlieuae ok na po ang 65 and no need mag english test. tinanong ko din ang qld about this before and ang invitation process nila is first come firs served basis and hindi paraasan ng points. 65pts lng din po kame ans nainvite kame after a month

@SGtoAU salamat sa reply mo. Siguro magaantay muna ako mag bukas ang queensland this july and magaantay ng invites sa kanila since sya lng na state ang open sa nominated occupation ko for 489. In your opinion mas oks ba yung ginawa ko na nagsubmit ako ng eoi few days ago khit close p ang queensland or sana inantay ko yung july kung saan sila magoopen ulet? May nabasa ksi ako na ibang thread na mas maganda daw yung antayin mag open ulet bago mag submit ng eoi? Thanks po ulet.

@SGtoAU wala pa po..waiting pa din kami...no CO contact din...Dec 24 kami nagsubmit...so far wala pa na grant na 489 sa December group...for sure parating na yon...patience lang talaga kailangan sa waiting game...kelan BM nyo? sa Rocky kami..kayo ba?

@charlieuae no regrets na nasubmit na ei..pero for me mas ok kapag nag open na...cge lang monitor mo lang...

@charlieuae I recommend that u submit fresh EOI on July 1st . Since QLD does not honor previous EOI based on their previous rules. Pag nag open na sila sinasabi nila nian na hnd na nila tingnan ung old eoi na sa websites nila Kung ano po Ang requirements. If u have submitted prior to new fiscal year hnd mapansin Yung EOI nio po. 2019-20 new things n nmn Yan po.

@charlieuae Yes better ask your agent and your agent must check the QLD website since they update always po, remember that not all agent are aware of all those requirements po , mostly sa website lng din sila naka based kung ano sasabihin ng state.

Base on my experience ang agent ko nun tulog...thats why I do it my self na lng..although nakabayad na..cheers chillax

2019 Federal Budget Announcements:

1) VACS to increase by 5.4% from July 2019 (excluding Visitor Subclass 600)

2) Permanent visas reduced to 160,000 per year (over the next 4 years)

3) RSMS (Subclass 187) and Regional (Subclass 489) to be discontinued

4) New Regional visas to be introduced from November 1st 2019:

5) The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) and Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visas

6) Extension of Temporary Graduate (Subclass 485) for regional graduates - an additional 12 month second post-study work visa for international graduates providing a total of three years. (previously announced)
