<b><u>Filipinos in Saudi should obtain police clearance before departure</u></b>

The Department of Foreign Affairs reminds all Filipinos who are transferring from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Australia, Canada, Europe, or the United States to obtain a police clearance in Saudi Arabia prior to departure.
The clearance is an entry/residency requirement in the said countries for all Filipinos who are coming from Saudi Arabia.
Those seeking to obtain a police clearance while still in the Kingdom should have the following:
The applicant will then bring the LOE to the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) for authentication and then to the Police.
Applicants who are no longer in the Kingdom have to go through a longer (two to three months long) and more expensive process and must have the following:
Request letter addressed to the Embassy stating the purpose of the clearance and e-mail address, if any;
Duly accomplished fingerprint card obtained through the State Police of the country where the applicant is presently residing;
Photocopy of passport used in Saudi Arabia clearly showing the applicant’s photograph and all visas;
Copy of Saudi residence permit (iqama);
Two (2) recent 2” x 2” colored pictures with white background;
Other relevant documents, if any, to support the application for police clearance;
