Now, I just want to give back naman po by sharing some info. I took PTE in Cebu last Monday. Self review through Youtube: Jimmysem, E2 and Language Academy. Then, subscribed to Ape Uni for a scored practice (share kami ni hubby sa iisang account)

P.S. may lumabas po na samples si ape uni sa actual exam.

REMINDERS ON THE EXAM DAY:

present id and passport at the reception area
remove accessories
clear your pocket
bring jacket
turn off phone
ask for 2 markers/ check your marker before starting the exam
drink water and pee before starting the exam
write down test category as ur guide, check once done answering
always ready ur pen to jot notes
don't get dstructed, Listen to your voice
Keep track on time
Memorize the templates
Practice typing in an old school keyboard (dito ako nhirapan, tigas ng keys and mabagal mag display ng tinype)
FOCUS
PRESENCE OF MIND

markers dry out fast, put the caps right away after using.practice with a background noise. meron po sa youtube "PTE exam center background noise." infairness, mas maingay pa pala ang actual. hehehe

hi, I used Jimmyssem's template for my PTE exam recently lng - Apr 4. it works fine naman for me 🙂

Hello guys, thank you for the tips. Still struggling with Speaking section. Here are my scores from the mock test so far.

As you can see, pababa ng pababa score ko sa Speaking haha I'm really struggling with DI. On average, 50/90 lang score ko with this part so nahahatak nia ung Speaking section ko especially with the fluency part. I'm using Apeuni template although from the live class. Ang question ko lang is in between keywords ba, do I need to pause or do I need to treat it as a phrase? For example, "...It also provides information about the topic in different categories, such as <keyword 1>, <keyword 2>, <keyword 3>, etc" or <..such as <keyword 1> <keyword 2> <keyword 3> (walang pause?).

May trial kasi pinagagawa sa volunteers na read aloud and pinapacompare samin ung scores na nakukuha namin. and then i uupgrade nila ung version ko and need ko i compare ung scores na makukuha ko for the upgraded version vs sa current version. Hula ko lang iuupgrade nila yung app. Pero sa tingin niyo ba need pa nila i "upgrade" or oks naman na din yung current state?

Definitely needs upgrading. Good way to test your skills pero dahil ang inconsistent pa rin ng scoring ni APEUni for Speaking, ang hirap ma-gauge if you're actually doing well enough. Shot in the dark ang naging experience ko, kaya I supplemented APEUni with the Pearson mock tests (kasi closer ang AI scoring nun to the actual exam) just to measure yung speaking performance ko.

Is this a mock test from Apeuni? Meron mas detailed breakdown after the score report for each section together with the % contribution. There you can check anong section yung need mo iimprove.

Writing - summarize written text, essay

Yan mga big % sa PTE. Try to practice it. May i know if you used any template? You can back read here, madami tips.
