Took the exam yesterday (supposedly May 9 pero naubusan ng slot) and got the result just now. Thanks God pasado :-)

I would say medyo mas mahirap yung format ng PTE kesa IELTS and medyo challenging sa speaking kasi sabay2 kayo nagsasalita ng ibang test takers. But overall the experience was good. Good luck sa inyo guys :-)

@cheezy_pops yan din target date ko kaso lang di pa ako nagbook dahil baka kulangin ako sa preparation time, kung satisfied ako sa mock test then book na ako ng test.

magandang date yung six una dahil imperfect number, pangalawa expected ng week on ITA.

so kung after 1 or 2 days may result ka na pwede na agad update EOI.

Not sure anong mga changes sa DIBP after July.

BTW, galing ako ng BC I paid P4,092 for the remarking of my IELTS Speaking....

pero tuloy pa rin PTE just in case my back-up na IELTS.

nagtake kaba ng scored practice tests? If you don't mind, ano po ang scores nyo before sa mock test and sa actual test?.. para po may idea kami. thanks in advance!

@cheezy_pops yup,nagtake ako ng practice test,binili ko kasi ung gold kit and I recommend it to everyone kasi magkakaroon ka ng idea kung paano yung actual exam and malalaman mo kung ano yung weakness mo.

Nun nagexam ako may construction site sa malapit and maingay ung machine nila pambakbak ng semento, tingin ko nakaapekto un sa listening kasi naooverride yung headset and nagkakaroon ng difficulty intindihin yung recording. Sa speaking din napansin ko na supposedly after 3 sec na dika nagsalita magsstop na un recording pero sa case ko yung iba hindi lalo na kapag nagsasalita un ibang test takers.Tingin ko napipick up niya yung mga nagsasalita :-)

hello po, any one experience having issue on their gold kit practice exam? i tried different browser and different headset walang ma detect na sound ung mic at kahit I already allowed access sa camera and mic. thanks po

My husband will be taking PTE this coming May 28 sa Dubai sana ito na ung chance maka kuha ng 10points. Sino po ba mag take or nakapag take sa Dubai pa share naman ng experience nyu. Thanks in advance.

@dddrew & @Urlilangel_christy i suggest sir to place your mic between lips and chin.. open your mouth more when you speak to give emphasis to your pronunciations at hindi makain ang ilang letra sa salita.. speak moderately rin sir and smile while speaking.. wag po susuko kaya nyo yan.. God bless

I tried to ensure that my mic is around 45 deg with respect to lips and triple checked un mic test. Tumaas ng onti yung 2nd mock exam but nde parin passing. Don't be discouraged. Just remember for speaking lalo na yung may long time for you to speak, salita lang ng salita with the proper punctuations and pauses not too long, Kahit mali mali grammar. parang ang laki kasi ng deduction nung computer sa spaces and pag hindi spontaneous un pagsasalita mo.</blockquote>

Hmmm kaya din siguro mababa yung speaking at reading ko sa scored test. This is noted, I think I've red somewhere na it's better to answer just 1 instead of 2 kung hindi ka sure sa 2nd answer because it won't deduct any point..
