@mynameisabby I don't think mic positioning matters. as long as you speak properly, pronounce correctly.

Haha.. nakakairita nga yung ganyan. Akala ata parang karaoke na pag malakas ang boses, 100 ang score.

@rich88 hindi ba un pwede ireklamo? Kawawa nasa tabi nya bingi n cgrdo.. From end to end kmi sagad sa lakas boses nya nataon pa na repeat sentence ako n ngdedescribe image siya so aun ang mas pmpsok sa icp ko ung mga cnsb nya.. As in very dominating cnsb nya..and ang nkktawa pa dhil nga d nko mksunod at wla nko masabi never ng shut down ang mic ko kasi sagap nya boses nung isang examinee... Sana positive result ko hahaha!

Pag sinabing "tuloy tuloy" ibig sabihin lang na dpat di ka nag hesitate or mag pause ng matagal ng wala sa tiyempo. Kunwari sa Describe Image, dapat continuous ka magsalita for about 35 secs.

Iba naman yung "reading in segments" sa Read Aloud. Syempre kelangan mag pause ka after sentences and phrases. Makababa din kasi ng score kung di ka magbabasa with the correct phrasing sa Read Aloud. At importante din ang intonation. Dapat pababa ang tone pag end ng sentences.

Para sa nakakuha ng 80+ sa Speaking any other tips po sa re-tell lecture and speaking in general? aside from fluency, templates, the position of mic, take note on academic words/highlights .. Thank you so much in advance! 🙂

@Skye24 pwede mo sya i-reklamo dun sa test admin. You should've complained if he/she was really a disturbance to you and your fellow test takers. Nakakairita yung mga ganyan, napaka inconsiderate.

@pcasing there are various materials some members shared in this thread, I only used those plus youtube. also someone mentioned E2language they have free lessons on youtube, very useful.

@rich88 hindi naman kasi ngreklamo ung mismong katabi nya un naman ang mas naiistorbo nya talaga..1st time ko din kasi magexam so natakot na ko magsayang ng oras sknya.. Pero tlgng malaki effect nya s repeat sentence ko meron tlg n time na hindi na ko nakasalita kasi d n ngregister sa utak ko ung sentence..oh well sana lng wag ako bumagsak..

Hmmm... Try to speak at least until the 35 sec mark (except for Read Aloud where typically matatapos ka within about 25 sec). Content does not matter so much so long as its related so pag naubusan ka na ng sasabihin just keep on talking within the topic to fill in the time but make sure to complete your sentence before the 40 secs is up para di maapektuhan yung Grammar score mo. I didn't follow a template in re-tell lecture but only listed 2-3 major points while listening to the recording and rephrased them.

And for Repeat Sentence, I write the first letters of each word.

To get a Superior english points, kelangan ba lahat above 79? What if the the average is 79 pero may isang skill na below 79?
