@edmariel suggest ko RELC kasi dun ako kumuha at maganda naman facilities nila pati mga coordinators mababait. Although di ko lang alam sa Pearson. Goodluck and God bless

Hi there. Ask ko lang about PTE. I have read so many comments about having templates, but are we allowed to bring them during the exam? thank you.

@angelmatiga you are not allowed to bring anything during the exam. you have to memorize and know the templates by heart. (try to back read for the templates....) What most of us did on the exam is write down the template (in the paper provided) when there is a time (just in case lng malimutan mo ung minemorize mo). Example lng, ung template ko sa re-tell lecture was written during the Read aloud prepare time. Sa read aloud kc, u are given 30 sec to prepare before you actually read it allowed. most of the time, you'll be able to finish reading the passage before 30 sec. So while waiting for the "beep", dun n ako nagsusulat ng template.

But, if you know the templates by heart, you won't need to write it down kc automatic n yan n lalabas s bibig mo.

Recently got hubby's PTE-A result (2nd attempt) S/R/L/W- 90/90/76/74

kinda sad kc di parin achieve ung desired marks 🙁

But happy to know na laki ng inc. ng marks nya from the previous, so we've decided to give it another try ( maybe last ?!?), hihihi.

Can I ask po any further advice/tips on how to increase/ possibly hit at least 79 in Listening and Writing?

@spyware Hi. Konti na lang makakasuperior na sana sya.

Ang tip ko lang sa listening, especially dun sa mga may mga choices (eg multiple choice and correct summary), wag nya muna basahin yung mga choices. Basahin nya lang yung question tas isulat na lang nya ng isulat lahat ng tingin nyang importante then kapag binasa na nya yung choices, malalaman na nya kung alin ba talaga yung tamang sagot. For the fill in the blank type, ganun din, wag nya basahin kamo yung choices, makinig lang syang mabuti dun sa speaker and magegets na nya kung ano yung tamang sagot.

For writing, ensure na makaka 280+ words sya sa essay and 55+ words sa summarize written text. Magsend ako sayo ng sample essay ko nung mock exam. I got 89 sa writing nung mock with that essay.

@spyware nice! Atleast may improvement , magschedule agad habang may momentum. Dagdag tip ko sa listening, pure focus talaga jan. San bAnda ba sya nahihirapan para makatulong ako? Sa writing eto bigay kong blog ng mga previous essays

Check nyo rin yung scores nya kung san pwede iimprove. First take ko mababa vocabs ko kaya nagdagdag ako ng synonyms, ayun nakasabit sa 79.

Parang computer shop ang setup. Magkakasama lahat ng test takers sa isang room.

@albertus1982 Hi po! yun nga sinabi ko ni hubby na wag masayado late mag.retake para nandun pa ung momentum, thu need to review more sa L/W...check namin ung link na sinabi mo at focus and improve sa enabling skills na mababa...
