Hi po sa lahat. I have took the two mock test ng Pearson Goldkit. Eto po ung scores ko sa scored tests A and B. Ang kailangan ko po ay 65 in all areas. When I took the first, LRSW 75,59,77,76 nakuha ko. Pahingi naman po ng tips from the experts na nakapagtake na ng PTE kasi I will be taking the actual exam in the coming days. Salamat!

@NurseAngel Yung grammar, at vocab sa Summarize Written at Spoken text yan. Check mo lage kung pano yung construction ng sentence mo.

Ah yes, sa Manila lang naman ako. Di ko lang mabago yung location ko na Malaysia. Medyo may bug ata yung forum kasi when I change it, bumabalik uli. So you have used the AECC one?

@SAP_TRM Yup I did. Though I went to their office when I bought the voucher tas dun na din ako nagschedule ng PTE exam para sure na legit yung code haha. Medyo skeptic kasi ako if online ko sya bibilhin tas bank transfer yung payment.

@aisleandrow Dun lang po yun? Pinipilit ko kasing one sentence lang yung sagot ko dun sa SWT at Summarize Spoken Text. Nagcocontribute din ba sila sa Reading score at hindi sa writing lang?

Hello po. I took the exam yesterday and received the results this morning. I got L80/R86/S49/W81

Sa speking part, sinunod ko naman template sa describe image and re-tell lecture, konting errors lang sa repeat sentence and smooth sa read aloud. Yung positioning ng mic ko sa tapat mismo ng ilong ko to prevent breathing noise. I checked three times sa record testing. I thought okay lang sya pero na bother ako dun sa constant static noise na naririning ko. Kala ko normal lang sya. Wala namang narerecord na noise coming from other test takers. Dapat po ba complete silence pag nagrecord ng walang sinasabi? Possible po ba yun nakaapekto sa score ko? Nakakapanghinayang kasi. Di ko alam panong practice pa gagawin ko.

@ajdee aw, nakakapanghinayang nga. Tinapos mo ba ung mga timing hanggang mag "completed", o click next ka once tapos ka na?

@kuya.king I clicked next everytime matapos ako sa read aloud, repeat sentence and answer short questions. Sa describe image and retell lecture 35-38 seconds ako sa lahat naman. I also did proper pauses din.

@ajdee OM, magtetake pa naman kami soon, dami talaga nabibiktima sa speaking. May napanood ako sa youtube, PTE trainor siya pero 45 lang din ata siya sa speaking nung first time nya. Malakas ba ung boses mo? Aside from the static noise, any other possible reason?

@kuya.king Medyo tanggap ko na na baka mahina nga talaga boses ko. Nung time kasi ng exam para akong nakikipag usap lang sa harap ng computer. A friend commented on my speaking voice and he said na medyo mahina nga daw ako makipag usap. So baka yun nga. Nagtiwala kasi ako masyado sa record testing portion. Kala ko pag audible and understandable, okay na sya. Lakasan ko na lang sa retake haha.

So yun pala ibig sabihin ng Read Aloud. Literal na Aloud hahahaha! Kidding

@NurseAngel see the attachment. Nasa score sheet kung pano ang scoring ng PTE. Nakaka affect silang dalawa sa writing. Si summarize spoken text kay Listening nakaka affect.

Isang sentence lang si summarize written text pero si summarize spoken text ay hindi isang sentence. What is required ay in yung tamang organization ng pagsulat mo.Nasa study plan ko ang template ng summarize spoken text.

Di bale na maingayan katabi mo, kesa masakripisyo score at pera mo. Parepareho namang maingay. 🙂
