Hi guys, Im new here. Mga 3 days na ako nagbabasa ng topic dito. I'm planning to go to AU. Ung unang ginawa ko is nagpunta ko last week sa idp, ngpacounsel ako. I need to take IELTS nga kasi plan ko mag study dun. Pero eto nga I'm afraid to take the exam. Iaaccept kaya nila etong PTE. please help me. Thank you.

@yataketumbi ask ko lang paano mo na deliver speaking mo. Malakas b boses mo? Mabagal b dapat?

@Julian. Yung natural voice ko kasi malakas na talaga so i just speak as it is comfortably. Dun po sa read aloud, i speak 30₃₂ sec on average. Tamang-tama lang. Di gaano mabilis at din gaano mabagal. I suggest na you have to do a recording of yourself as you speak. Then play it back and listen. Kasi sometimes kala natin okay na yung pagkadeliver pero pag pinakinggan sa audio recording minsan di gaanong clear yung mga words. That's what i did when i review/practice the speaking part. Tsaka watch out din sa pronunciation ng word "the". Usually nagkakamali ang karamihan dito. If the word "the" is succeeded by a word that starts with a consonant, it will be pronounced as "dha" and if it is a vowel then it will be pronounced as "dhe". Simple mistake na minsan di natin napapansin and this will affect din sa score.

@kristine_1377 yes 2x. First, moderate lang me magsalita then second malakas at medyo mabilis pero same p rin result lower than 65. Need to know the strategy in speaking. How about you?

ielts result a terrible 6.5 for all sections. will have to do it again maybe examiner will pity me lol and give me 7 for all.

@Julian yup nag exam ako dati sa bright centre at sobrang baba ng speaking ko doon.Ung speaking mo sa last exam mo mga 63 ba or mababa pa?

Anu pa ba?! Hmmm.. Try to record your own voice, tpos pakinggan mo or ask someone to listen and ask them if they understood what you have said... Dapat flowing, smooth yung pagsasalita mo... Try mo to sa read aloud.. Watch vlogs, listen to padcasts..yan yung mga ginawa ko nun e.. God bless! 🙂

Don't count on it. I took IELTS 3 times and always got 6.5 for Speaking and Writing. You'll easily get at least 65 (Band 7) with your current 6.5 IELTS score.

Sa pearson makati 2800 po ung goldkit,dun lng ba nkabibili at how much po kaya?

Depende siguro dun sa sentence. Pero mas maikli yung mga sentence sa actual. Marami na yung 7 words.

hello @Liolaeus, congrats sa 20 points. yan din goal ko para maka65 points ako. kase nshort ako dun sa credited na work experience ng ACS. Mahirap ba yung writing? do you still remember your topic lalo na sa essay part? can u share some tips 🙂

@chapoy Thanks! Pinaka madali ang writing kasi may format na. 3-7-7-3 or 3-5-5-5-3 paragraphs. Ewan ko lang bat bumaba ako from 90 (below 200 words lang, no conclusion) to 83 (230 words). hehe baka panget na yung pag ka compose ko nung madami na words. Make sure sa summarize in one sentence, ay one sentence talaga tas minimum 30 words yung sentence.
