Use a combination of trial and error, anticipation, instinct, tenses, collocations, and grammar when answering the exam. Practice answering within 2 minutes. This will be a life saver in case matagalan ka sa MCA, CS/MA and Reorder Paragraph.

<b class="Bold">1. Summarize Spoken Text </b>β if you are a fast typer/typist like me, merely type the details of the passage. Note all key points. (e.g., name of a person, a place, an event, a date/era, figures, impacts, effects). Start with βThe lecture talks aboutβ¦β
<b class="Bold">2. Multiple Choice, Choose Single/Multiple Answer/s </b>β habang hindi pa nagsisismula ang speaker, read the prompt and note the key words/phrases in the prompt. While the speaker is talking, glance at the choices and mentally note familiar words or concepts. I wrote down the choices 1-4 from top to bottom on my notepad para ma X ko yung mga sure akong wrong answers.
<b class="Bold">3. Fill in the blanks </b>β look at the words/phrases before the blank so you know when to pay utmost attention. Use the tab key to jump from one blank to the next. Check your spelling before hitting next.
<b class="Bold">4. Select Missing Word </b>- Listen up to the last drop. Use trial and error by recalling the last phrases mentioned by the speaker.
<b class="Bold">5. Highlight Incorrect Word </b>β sabayan mo yung speaker magsalita in your head and click on the words that differ from what was spoken. Never glance back kasi baka may mga banggitin na yung speaker na variations tapos di mo naclick. Sige ka. Lol
<b class="Bold">6. Highlight Correct Summary </b>β notes notes notes. Note all key points (e.g., name of a person, a place, an event, a date/era, figures, impacts, effects). Also take note of repeated words.
<b class="Bold">7. Write from Dictation </b>β write the first letter of each word. Then type. Check your spelling and capitalization before hitting next.
