Hi guys, i just took my mock test A and disappointed with the results as written below. I am aiming for superior pa naman. I only have 8 days to review since I will be taking on the 11th and parang nawalan ako ng gana. Tingin ko naman mainvite na ako in the next 3 rounds. Iparefund ko nalang ang ang nabayad ko f pwede pa kahit 50% nlang. Sa tingin nyo, based on my initial mock test, pwd pang magkasuperior to in the actual exam? tia..

@lottysatty disclaimer muna before I answer your question. i have not taken the mock exam yet but I'm planning to this month. and since no one is yet to answer your query I'll give my opinion. i think that's a common thing about taking the mock test based on what i've read here before. especially with speaking tasks kasi daw pwedeng may problem sa headset/headphones mo or dahil sa environment mo (baka maingay masyado). tska looking at your enabling skills mukhang may prob nga sa speaking part. also, most of them said na mas nahirapan sila sa mock exam compared sa actual. hehe.

hintay din tayo ng may experience sa ganyan for better insights.

@lottysatty try nio po palitan ung microphone na gamit nio po..experience ko kasi mataas ako nung 1st mock test then bigla na lng ako bumaba score ko sa fluency and pronounciation.. ayun sira na pala ung headphone..

Or kmusta po ba un gpag sagot nio sa oral exam? dapat po continouis lng ung pag salita nio po.

@shuroro @ivandemarco hi po..thanks po sa insights ninyo..baka nga may problema sa headset ko. i am planning to change it on the second mock test. For my speaking, I was aware that I need to work on my OF coz i scored very low sa Speaking talaga nung first PTE exam ko last Feb. I made sure na mabilis akong magsalita sa Read Aloud, Describe Image at Retell Lecture pero I was really surprised with my result. Baka nga sa headset talaga to.

@Blackmamba always check your spelling. I think this affected your R and W.

Hello po! Kung magreretake po ako ng PTE exam ano po bang score ang ihohonor? Sa ngayon po kasi profecient ang score na nakuha ko, meaning all scores are above 70. Ang goa ko po sana is superior. In case bumaba po sa 70 ang score ko, or totally bumagsak. Mareretain ko pa po ba ung highest score?

@PinkMagnolia Yup, kung ano naman ang ipapasa mo sa kanila yun ang tatanggapin nila so if meron ka ng proficient ok na yun, if makuha mo yung superior then you just need to update your EOI, pero if you fail no need to update anything.

Guys question, my relative is planning to buy the Gold kit of PTE pero from australia sya, wala kasi akong credit card, Log In ID ko gagamitin. Magagamit ko ba yun dito sa Philippines?

@MissAussie I think walang kaso if PTE practice test lang, pero if yung actual test na talaga may ibang bilihan ng vouchers na dapat dun sa country na pinagbilan.

@lottysatty sobrang baba ng oral fluency at pronunciation mo kaya baka masyadong mahina or malakas ang boses mo/breathing noise or pwedeng hindi lang talaga kaya mainterpret ng computer ang voice/words mo. So need mo i-eliminate lahat ng possible reasons bago ka mag exam. Nung nag exam ako nasa left eye ko nakatapat ang mic kasi napansin ko mas malinaw ang recording dahil walang breathing noise pero syempre depende padin sa kung saan ka comfortable, try mo din gumamit ng mas maayos na headset. Ang importante dito yun mamaximize mo yun chance na pwede ka mag test ng mic at headset bago ka magstart.
